Lyle R. Seefeldt of Wilson, NY, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014. Son of the late Edward and Edna Seefeldt.

Lyle was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving from 1951 to 1955 during the Korean War. He worked at Frontier Stone Company.

Lyle was a 54-year member of the Wilson Fire Company. He enjoyed the Yankees and the Buffalo Bills.

Lyle was the husband of the late Patricia Seefeldt. Lyle is survived by his daughters, Lori (Joseph) Joy of Ilion, NY and Elaine (Rudolf) Schlosser of Wilson, NY, along with his grandchildren, Patrick and Alex Joy and Bradley and Jodi Schlosser. He is also survived by his brother, Edward (JoAnn) Seefeldt and several nieces and nephews. Predeceasing him were three brothers, Alan, Merton and Clarence.

Visitation will be held at Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home, 270 Young St., in Wilson on Monday, October 6, from 4 to 8 PM and the funeral service Tuesday, October 7, at 11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Wilson Volunteer Fire Company #1. Arrangements by Hamilton and Clark Funeral Home.
