    The death of Mrs Albert E.
    Brandis occurred Monday at hor
    home on the Deansboro road aft
    er an illness of two weeks.
    She was born in the Town of
    Brookfield, June 3, 1862, a daugh-
    ter of George and Abbie Hubbard
    Wright. She married Albert E.
    Brandis at Brookfield, July 4. 1885,
    and for 40 years they had lived
    in their present home. Mrs. Brandis
    was a member of the Presbyterian
    Church.
    The deceased Is survived by
    three daughters, Mrs. Charles
    Griffin. College Hill; Mrs. Bert.
    Whaley, Deansboro, and Mrs. Raymond
    Dojan, Oriskahy Falls; one
    son. Hubbard H. Brandis, Deansboro:
    eight grandchildren, and one
    brother. Neville Wright, this village.
    A private funeral service
    held Tuesday afternoon.

    DEANSBORO - Mrs. Lucile
    B. Whaley, 77, died Sunday in
    a Utica hospital. She was the
    widow of Bert Whaley.
    She was born m Wells, Nevada,
    Dec. 20, 1889, daughter
    of, Albert and Georgai Wright
    Brandis. She attended Deans-
    boro schools and was married
    to Mr. Whaley June 19, 1920.
    He died in March 1967. Mrs.
    Whaley was a member of the
    Methodist Church.
    She leaves a son, Theodore,
    Deansboro and two sisters,,
    Mrs. Charles (Brenda) Griffin,
    Clinton, and Mrs. Raymond
    (Mabel) Dolan, Oriskany Falls.
    The funeral will be at 10
    Wednesday from the Owens
    Funeral Home, 35 College St.,
    Clinton. Burial will be in
    Deansboro Cemetery.
    Calling hours are from 2 to
    4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday only.

    attended the Deansboro
    schools.
    She was married to Raymond
    . T. Dolan in 1920. He died in 1954.
    Mrs. Dolan was-a member of'
    St. Joseph's Church of Oriskany
    Falls and its Altar-Rosary
    Society.
    She is survived by a son/H..
    John Dolan of Oriskany Falls
    and a sister, Mrs. Charles
    (Brenda) Griffin of Clinton.
    The funeral will be at 9:15
    Saturday from the James W.
    Dayis Jr. Funeral Home,
    Oriskany Falls and at 9:30 from
    Sh Joseph's Church. Burial will
    be in St. Bernard's'Cemetery,
    Waterville.
    Calling hours are 7 to 9 tonight
    and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 tomorrow.

    Funeral services for Hubbard H.
    Brandis. who died Tuesday at his
    home on S. Onondaga rd., were
    conducted at 2 P.M. today at the
    Carl J. Ballweg funeral home.
    Burial took place in Onondaga Valley
    Cemetery. Mrs. Brandis was a
    former resident of Oneida and at
    one time was a hop grower in
    Deansboro for many years. He was
    a member of the Waterville I.O.
    O.F., past prophet of the Teugega
    Tribe of Redmen, the South Onondaga
    Grange and the Valley Presbyterian
    Church. Surviving are his
    wife, Mrs. Edna G. Brandis; two
    daughters, the Misses Patricia and
    Judith Brandis; three sisters, Mrs.
    Charles Griffin, Mrs. Burt Whaley
    and Mrs. Ray Dolan. and his
    father, Alfred E. Brandis.

    Hubbard married GROWER, Edna Ann on 1 Aug 1931 in Keene, NH. Edna (daughter of GROWER, John Frederick and BRONSON, Abigail F) was born on 5 Mar 1902 in Russia Township, Herkimer County, NY; died on 21 Aug 1981. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Roebuck and Co. She attended
    St. Paul's Church and
    was a member of the
    Women's Auxiliary
    Whitestown American
    Legion.
    Besides her husband, and
    mother in Clinton, she leaves
    three sons; Paul at home;
    John of Bristol, Connecticut;
    Charles B. Griffin, of
    Sacramento, California, and
    Albert F. Griffin, of Clinton.
