    Donald J. Wilkinson 85, of Lewiston, NY passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Northgate Health Care Facility. Born in Buffalo, NY on February 22, 1929 he was the son of the late John and Ivy Marie (Lee) Wilkinson. Donald was welder at General Motors until his retirement. Don loved gardening, playing golf and playing cards with his buddies at the VFW.
    He is survived by his wife, Rita (Valery) Wilkinson of Lewiston, NY; daughters, Sandra (Harry) Minoian, Tina (Frank) Zelinsky, Kim (Gary) Baillye and Lori Parris; also survived by his brother, Noel "Butchie" Wilkinson of Montreal, Canada. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Alyce Wilkinson and son Jay Wilkinson.
    Friends may call Thursday, November 20 from 3-7 PM at ZAJAC FUNERAL HOME INC., 319 24th Street, cor. of Welch Ave., Niagara Falls, NY where funeral services will begin at 7PM with Reverend Jacek Mazur officiating. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY will take place at the convenience of the family.

    Sandy Minoian, 68, of Grand Island, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7th, 2017 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Hamilton, Ontario on July 27, 1948 she was the daughter of the late Donald J. and Arshaloce (Derarastakisian) Wilkinson. Sandy came to Niagara Falls when she was a child with her mother and sister, Tina. She graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School and received her Associate’s Degree from Bryant and Stratton College. On February 7, 1970, she married her loving husband, Harry Minoian, at St. Sarkis Armenian Church in Niagara Falls. Sandy had a 32-year career in banking and retired in 1998 as the Vice-President of Citibank in Niagara Falls. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Grand Island Women’s Club and a faithful member of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church. In her leisure time, she enjoyed reading and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband of 47 years, she is survived by her son Donald (fiance Laura Underwood) Minoian; two sisters, Tina (Frank) Zelinsky and Kim (Gary) Baillie; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her one brother, Donald Jay Wilkinson and one sister, Lori Parris. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 12th from 4 – 8 P.M. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 2587 Baseline Road, Grand Island, NY 14072. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. If desired, memorial offerings may be made to St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to Wounded Warrior Project.

    Lori is survived by one daughter, Dominoe (Jason) Cotton; three sisters, Sandy (Harry) Minoian, Tina (Frank) Zelinsky and Kim (Gary) Baillie; brother-in-law, Thomas (Sandy) Parris; three nephews, Frank (Tammy) Zelinsky, Erik Baillie, Sr. and Donald (Laura) Minoian; one niece, Jamie (Chris) Bauer; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Lori is predeceased by one brother, Donald (Jay) Wilkinson.

    There will be no services held at the request of Lori. The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and condolences.
