    Mrs. Minnie S. Gorenflo, 49 years
    old, of Nol 7 Fremont street, died at
    the DeGraff Memorial hospital in
    Tremont street last night after a lingering
    Illness. Mrs. Gorenflo was
    born tn Pendleton and had lived in
    Tonawanda for thirty years. Besides
    her husband, two sons, City Treas
    urer Edward F Fries of Tonawanda
    and Arthur G. Fries of North Tona
    wanda, one daughter, Miss Esther L
    Fries of Tonawanda and six step-chil
    dren, all of Tonawanda, survive. The
    funeral will be held from the Gorenflo
    home oh Tuesday afternoon. One
    brother, John Brave of Tonawanda
    also survives

    who died at Denver. Col., last
    weak, arrived here today. The funeral
    will be held from the home of his
    parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Brave, at
    No. 537 Broad street on Sunday after.
    noon. Burial will be made In Elmlawn.

    Howard Brave, 26 years old member
    of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of
    the Redeemer, Schenk street, died at
    Denver, Col., July 27. He is survived
    by a wife and two children, mother,
    father, two sisters and a brother.
    Funeral services will take place at the
    home 587 Broad street. Sunday afternoon
    at 1:30 P. M and at the church at
    2:30 P. M. Interment will be In Eim
    lawn .

    A Niagara Falls man was killed and
    another was seriously injured in a two-car
    collision early today in Niagara Falls
    Boulevard near Krueger Road, Town of
    Wheatfield.
    Killed was Howard S. Brave, 53, of 503
    66th St., one driver.in what is beiieved
    to- have been a headon collision about
    1:31 a.m. today.
    The second driver, Thaddeus J. Savino,
    25, of 8020 Pine Ave., was admitted to
    the intensive care unit at DeGraff
    Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda. He
    was listed in fair condition with multiple
    injuries today.
    Niagara County Sheriff's d e p u t i es
    investigating the accident said both
    automobiles were destroyed. No cause
    was determined in the mishap, though the
    positions of the wrecked autos indicated a
    headon collision,
    The Brave car was found near a utility
    pole on the south side "of Niagara Falls
    Boulevard, said investigators, while the
    auto driven by Savino was in the eastbound
    lane on the roadway.
    Deputies said Savino, because of his
    condition, was unable to describe the
    cause of the accident. Neither driver was
    ejected from his car.
    Sheriff's deputies Ron L u c a r i n i,
    Theodore Kzmir and Edward Hartsell are
    continuing the investigation.
    Born in Denver, Colo., Mr. Brave had
    been a resident of Niagara Falls for the
    past 45 years. ~
    He had been employed as a guard by
    the Burns Detective Agency.
    Mr. Brave was a veteran of World
    War II.
    N Survivors include his' wife, Ellen Muldoon
    Brave; four children, Howard,
    Laurie and Michael all at home, and
    Mrs. Robert (Barbara) Barning of Buffalo;
    his mother, Mrs. Elise Miller of
    this city, and a brother, Warner, of North
    Tonawanda.
    Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7
    to 9 p.rti. Saturday and Sunday at the
    Ott6 Redanz Funeral Home here,' where
    services will be held at Lp.m. Monday.
    Burial will be in the veteran's plot
    at Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
