Brayley, 36 years old, lost his life at
noon Saturday, He struck his head
on the ground, fracturing the base of

Mr. Brayley was working on an iron'
beam on a'building being put iii> asan
addition to the main mill, when
it is thought he lost his balance arid
fell. Dr. Jphn'W. Gallagher was called,
a s well a s Dr. August H..Stelh,
but nothing could be -done to save
the man's life, and he died, before the
arrival of the Batavia ambulance. 1 . .
The young man was born arid spent
his entire life in Elba. He leaves
his wife; four children; his father, Edward.
R. Brayley, and his stepmother,
residing at Elba, and a sister, Mrs.
Howard Thomas; of No. 39 Vernon avenue,
Batavia.
His funeral- was held on Monday
afternoon at 2 o'clock. The burial
took place in Maplelawn cemetery at
Elba:
