    Beaver Falls.

    Humphrey E. Slocum died at
    &' p. m. yesterday at her home in
    •'Beaver Falls. She had been in poor
    health for some time, but seriously
    ill only a few days. Mrs. -Slocum was
    born at Niagara Falls, April 27, 1852,
    and had resided in Beaver Falls the
    • past 35 years. Besides her husband,
    Hon. Humphrey E. Slocum, two sons
    survive. Funeral arraingements are
    incomplete. Interment will be made
    at Niagara Fails..

    Peter E. Binkley, 58 years old. a life
    long resident     of the city, died last night
    at the Memorial hospital of a com-
    bination of diseases. Mr. Binkley was
    for years employed at the upper steel-
    arch bridge and had a wide acquaint-
    ances on both sides of the river. The
    funeral will be held on Friday after-
    noon.
