RANSOMVILLE, April. I3 — Mrs,
Rachael Caroline Strablow, 86, of
the Ridge road, died yesterday at
Memorial hospital, Niagara Falls.
funeral services will be held tomorrow
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock
at the home. The Rev. Catl Oldach,
of SL Peter's Lutheran church.
North Ridge, will officiate. Inter,

Mrs. Strablow, widow of Charles
8trablow, wis born In Germany and
came to this country when a child
with her parents. She had lived
to this vicinity ever since and was
a member of the North Ridge
church and IU women's organisations.
She u survived by three sons,
Walter. Edward and Fred; one
daughter,. Mrs. John Pollow; two
brothers, Lewis and Albert Simmons;
12 grandchildren and 13
great grandchildren, all of the
Ransomvllle vicinity.

TOWN OF LEWISTON - John
Simmons, 76 years old, well known
retired farmer, died late Saturday
afternoon at the family home in
the Ridge road, after an extended
period of failing health. Mr. Sim-
mons was born in New Jersey but
had resided in the town of Lewis-
ton for the last 38 years. He was a
successful farmer. He was an active
member of the North Ridge Luth-
eran church.
Mr. Simmons is survived by his
wife, Mrs. Rachael Simmons; one
son, Elwood Simmons, and the fol-
lowing brothers and sisters; Mrs.
Charles Strablow and Louis Sim-
mons, of the Ridge road. Albert
Simmons, of Burt, and Charles Sim-\
mons, of Newfane. He is also sur-
vived by two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held at
the home tomorrow afternoon at 2
o'clock and at 2:30 at St. Peter's
Lutheran church at North Ridge.
The Rev,. Carl Oldbach will officiate.
Interment will be in St. Peter's
cemetery.
