    Joseph M. Brotherton died
    Thursday, June 16, 1960, at
    Cuba Memorial Hospital, following
    a long illness. He was
    born Feb. 22, 1886 at Weathersfield,
    N. Y., the son of
    George Brotherton and Sylvia
    Bishop Brotherton. He
    has resided in Cuba since
    1913.
    The deceased is survived
    by a daughter, Georgia Brothton,
    Cuba; one son, Gerald
    Brotherton, Cuba; one grandchild;
    and one sister, Mrs.
    Emma Cannon, Fillmore.
    Services were conducted
    at the Loveridge Funeral
    Home Saturday, June 18.
    1960, at two o'clock. The Rev.
    Earl Bell, pastor of the First
    Methodist Church, officiated.
    Burial was in Cuba Cemetery

    Miss Georgia F. Brotheron, formerly
    of 67 West Main Street, Cuba,
    died Friday, September 11,1987, in
    the Wellaville Manor Nursing Home
    after a long illness.
    Born March 18, 1909, in Centerville,
    she was a daughter of Joseph
    M. and Allie Herrick Brotherton.
    Miss Brotherton had been employed
    by Cuba Memorial Hospital
    before her retirement.
    • Surviving are a niece, Mrs. John
    (Kay Lee) Adams of Cuba; and
    several cousins.
    She was predeceased by a brother,
    Gerald Brotherton.
    There was no visitation. Friends
    attended funeral and committal
    services Monday, September 14,
    1987, in the Nicholson Funeral
    Home, Cuba. The Reverend Larry
    Poelma, pastor of the Cuba First
    Baptist Church, officiated. Burial
    was in Cuba Cemetery
