    James B. Lingle, age 84, passed from this life on September 6, 2015, at Eastern Niagara Hospital. He was born in Lockport, NY on March 6, 1931, the son of the late James B. and Jeanette Lingle.

    He was retired from Harrison Radiator as an Inspector.

    He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Spring) Lingle; his children, Deborah (Rick Riley), Woodbridge, VA., James M. (Donna), Burt, NY, Richard (Beth), Summerville, SC, and Kim (Dan) Dillabough, Newfane, NY; a sister, Eleanor Tuttle. Predeceased by a brother, Orville. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

    There will be no service. Mr. Lingle has donated his body to U.B. School of Medicine. Donations appreciated to Newfane Rehabiliation and Health Care Center, 2709 Transit Rd., Newfane, NY 14108.

    Obituary of Eleanor M. Tuttle

    Eleanor M. (nee Lingle) Tuttle passed away on Sunday April 24, 2022 at Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital.  Born in Lockport on March 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late James B. and Jeanette Lingle.  Eleanor enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with her family.  She is predeceased by her husband, John E. Berndt, who passed away on August 2, 1999.
    Eleanor is survived by her children, Scott (Jasmine) Berndt, Cathy (Dale) Cummings, Paula (Brad) Clack Halford, Wendy Disparti, Michael Clack and the late Susan Morello.  She is also survived by several, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Beside her husband and daughter, Eleanor was also predeceased by two brothers, Orville and James Lingel.
    There will be no prior visitation.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in Cold Spring Cemetery.
