    AKRON - Ernest G. Brucker,
    69, of Tonawanda Creek Rd., died
    in his home Wednesday morning
    (Nov. 18, 1959).
    Mr. Brucker was born in the
    Town of Newstead on Jan. 28,
    1890 and had resided here all his
    life. He was a member of the
    Town Board of Assessors for 16
    years before he retired on Aug.
    1, 1959.
    Surviving are his wife, Jennie;
    one son, Lloyd; six brothers, Herman,
    Franklin, Edward and
    William, all of Akron, Henry and
    Albert of Middleport; four sisters,
    Mrs. Nora Meahl, Mrs.
    Norman Deaver and Mrs. William
    Mosher, all of Lockport, and
    Mrs. Henry Wagner of Akron also
    two grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held
    at 2 Saturday afternoon at the
    Bernhardt Funeral Home. Burial
    will be in Eldred Cemetery

    farmer. Albert Brucker, 67, of
    Lewiston Road, died Saturday
    (April 3, 1965) in Genesee Memorial

    AKRON, June 24 - Maynard
    Brucker, 21, of the Akron-Tonawanda
    Creek road, was Instantly
    killed Tuesday at the Cedar street
    crossing of the west Shore railroad
    when he leaped from an automobile
    which was crossing the track,
    directly into the path of a switch
    engine. His head was decapitated
    and his right leg was badly
    mangled.
    Brucker was enroute to the Louisville
    Cement company, where he is
    employed. In an automobile driven
    by Henry A. Vael of Akron. Vael
    approached the crossing as the
    switch engine moved slowly toward
    the crossing, and instead of wait-
    ing for the engine to pass, pro-
    ceeded over the tracks. Brucker,
    becoming alarmed at the approach-
    ing locamotive, leaped from the
    machine, stumbled and fell directly
    into the path of the engine. His
    body was carried 50 feet east of the
    crossing.
    Brucker, who was unmarried, is
    survived by his parents, Mr. and
    Mrs. Edward Brucker. His body
    was removed to Schod's undertaking
    parlor, here.

    Ray Allen Brucker, age 72, died November 17, 2021 in Buffalo General Hospital following a long illness. He was born January 19, 1949 in Batavia to Franklin and Elnora (Wruck) Brucker and was a life-long resident of this area. Ray was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a family man who enjoyed working on his Hobby Farm. His family was his life and dearly loved his wife, son and daughter-in-law as well as his bird “Doink” and his dog “Riley”. Mr. Brucker was predeceased by his brother: Henry and two sisters: Frances and Lucille. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Elizabeth “Liz”, his son: Frank (Mikala Hodge) Brucker of Middleport, his bird “Doink” and his beloved beagle, “Riley”. There will be no prior calling hours. Service and interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wolcottsville Fire Dept., 6337 Wolcottsville R., Akron, NY, 14001.     James was taken from us to be with the Lord and farm the fertile lands of heaven. He was the son of Henry and Mildred Wagner (deceased).
    Jim grew up and spent the majority of his life on the family farm in Wolcottsville. He enjoyed farming above all else. Jim also enjoyed travel, woodworking and home remodeling.
    He worked at Harrison's Radiator division of GM for over 30 years, and Delco Remy products for four years as a tool and dye maker and model maker. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge and skills of his many talents.
    Jim leaves behind his wife, Sally; sons, Lyle and Jeffery Wagner; and grandson, Lucas Wagner; step-children, Lora, Darla and Jay; step-grandchildren, Courtney, Ashton, Cody and Myles; step-great-grandchildren, Castor and Lucy; sisters, Linda (deceased) Betty (deceased) and Marilyn; numerous nieces and nephews.
    Jim has donated his body to science and his ashes will be buried at a later date.

    Obituary

    Robert L. Brucker, of Akron, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on November 20, 2022. He was born in Akron, NY on June 11, 1939 to the late Lloyd and Margaret (Peters) Brucker.

    Bob was a 1957 graduate of Akron Central High School, where his career spanned 30 years as bus mechanic. He retired in 1985. Bob’s hobbies included hunting and fishing but his farm was his real passion. He always looked forward to coffee with the guys every Monday and Friday.

    Loving husband of Sandra (Stockman) Brucker; beloved father of Anne (Todd) Lotz, Michael Brucker, and Jennifer (Tim) Manchester; cherished grandfather of Michael (Jamie) Lotz, Joseph (Erin) Lotz, Steven (Nicole) Lotz, and Brittany Manchester; proud great grandfather of Grace, Evan, and Carson Lotz. He is also survived by a sister, Joan (Ron) Utton and two nieces and former wife, Rosemary Brucker. Robert is predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl A. Brucker. Bob will be especially missed by his loyal companion, Bear.

    Rd.. Town of Royaiton, died
    Saturday evening (Jen. 24, 1959)
    in Children's Hospital, Buffalo.
    He had been a patient for one
    day. Cause of death was not immediately
    known.
    Roger was born Aug. 17. 1953.
    in Medina and was a kindergarten
    pupil in Royalton-Hartland
    Central School in Middleport.
    Surviving are his parents, a
    brother. Clifford; four sisters,
    Jean, Margaret, Jane and Frances
    and his grandparents, Mr. and
    Mrs. Steven Grant and Mr. and
    Mrs. Henry Brucker, all of Middleport.
    Friends may call at the family
    home where services will be held
    Wednesday afternoon at 2 with
    the Rev. Alfred Underbill officiating.

     passed away after a long illness on January 1, 2020. He was born in Batavia, New York on August 2, 1970 to the late Richard and Francis (Brucker) Lederhouse.
    Scott attended school in Akron and worked for many years for Power Devices as a welder. He enjoyed farming, loved spending time outdoors, and was an avid hunter.
    Loving father of Sophie Lederhouse; dear brother of Linda Karppinen, Richard (Deb) Lederhouse, Vicky (Mark) Kloss, and Charlie Lederhouse. He is also survived by several nephews and his beloved cat, Boss.
