BRUNING - Anna Bruning
(nee Engei), 72, of 316 Fletcher
St., Tonawanda, entered into
rest on Tuesday (Dec. 22, 1964)
at Millard Fillmore Hospital,
Buffalo, after a brief illness.
Born in Germany, she had been
a resident of the Tonawandas for
the past 34 years and was a
member of St. Paul's Lutheran
Church. Survivors include her
husband, Ernest A.: a daughter,
Mrs. Knute (Ella) Guide of Buffalo;
two sons, Eric E. of North
Tonawanda and Ernest C. of
Flushing: two brothers, William
and Ferdinand Engel of Germany,
and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Creasey
Memorial Chapel, 138 Delaware
St, Tonawanda, where services
win take place Thursday at 2
p.m. The Rev. Enno A.
Schmoock will officiate. Interment
in Elmlawn Cemetery.

Hospital Mr. Bruning had
lived in the Tonawandas for
the past 42 years, and was a
member of St. Paul's Lutheran
Church, the Lutheran Laymans
League, International Union
of Operating Engineers, was a
World War I veteran of Germany,
and a retired employe
| of the DuPont (Rayon) Co.
His wife. A*nna. died in December
of 1964.
Beloved father of Eric E.
Bruning of North Tonawanda;
Mrs. Knute (Ella) Golde of
Buffalo and Ernest C. Bruning
of New Castle. Pa., brother
of Mrs. August Ftefir and Mrs.
Marie Gramzow both of Germany;
four grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren also
survive.

Newcastle, Pa.
He is survived by a
brother, Eric Bruning of
North Tonawanda; a sister,
Mrs. Ella Golde of
Jacksonville. Fla.; two
nieces and two nephews.
