OLD RESIDENT DIES

Mrs. George Schwcnk Passes at Home Here Following Short Illness. Mrs. Rose Christiana Schwenk, 64 years old, 1413 A street, died at her home yesterday, following a short illness. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2:30 p. m. Friday, the Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery-

Mrs. Schwenk was a native of Germany. She had lived in Niagara Falls for the past 47 years and had a large number of. friends in the city. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran church. She Is survived by her husband, George Schwenk, three sons,' George, Jr., Henry and August, all of this city: four brothers, Carl and Augustus Stelnbrenner, of this city. Henry Stelnbrenner, of White Plains. N. Y., and William Steinbrenner, of Los Angeles, and four sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Kuebler. Mrs. Anna Keller. Mrs. Fredericka Elherta and Miss Louise Steinbrenner of New York City.

Rose married SCHWENK, George about 1887. George was born in May 1861 in Germany; died on 18 Feb 1947 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY; was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY - Section 2. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
