following a brief illness.
She was a 45 year Wellsville area
resident. A native of Linneus,
Maine, she was born July 22, 1904,
a daughter of William and Edna
Sterritt Kervin.
Mrs. Hardy was a homemaker, an
avid conservationist and a charter
member of the Wellsville Volunteer
Ambulance Corps.
Surviving are three sons, Harold
Tingley of Bradford, Pa.; William
Tingley of Akron, Ohio; Robert
Hardy of Wellsville; three daughters,
all of Wellsville; Mrs.
Woodrow (Beatrice) Davis, Mrs.
Erwin (Margaret) Buchholz and i
Mrs. Neil (Dorothy) Mott; 17
grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren;
three brothers,
Gordon Kervin of Clarendon, Pa.;
Elmer Kervin of Hodgdon, Me.;
and Chester Kervin of Presque
Isle, Me.; two sisters, Mrs. Alfred
Bugbee of Presque Isle, Me.; and
'several nieces and nephews.
