Loretta M. McCleary. 73. of 119
Hopson St.. Utica, died Tuesday. June
30.1987, at her home, unexpectedly.
She was born August 13. 1914, in
Utica. the daughter of Michael and
Ida Vaeth Buckley. Mrs. McCleary
attended Utica Free Academy, and
Albany State Teachers College, where
she received a Masters Decree in
Library Science. On June 30.1941, she
married Charles E. McCleary in St.
Agnes Church, Utica, and has resided
here all of her life. Mrs. McCleary
was a teacher and a librarian at Uticca
Free Academy retiring in 1982. She
was a member of the Church of Our
Lady of Lourdes, the Mohawk Valley
Hunt Club, and the New York State
Retired Teachers Association.
Surviving, besides her husband,
Charles, is one daughter and son-in
law, Maureen E. and Roger C. Reath.

Mrs. Eugene (Minnie) Buckley, of
Utica; one brother-in-law and his
wife ??? and Margaret McCleary of
VA; three grandchildren UNREADABLE
She is also surived by several nieces
and nephews
Funeral services will be Thursday
at 9 o'clock from the Quinn, Ryan &
Nunn Inc. Funeral Home, 2212 Gene-
see St., under the direction of Christo-
pher J. McGrath and 9:30 from the
Church of Our Lady of Lourdes where
a Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated by the Rev. Msgr. H..
Charles Sewall. Interment will be in
UNREADABLE
