    Notes:

    Esther (Manente) Donatelli, age 96, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2017 in Our Lady of Peace. She was born February 2, 1920 in Niagara Falls, NY, to the late Carmine and Niva (Valleria) Manente. 
    A lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, she was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She married John A. Donatelli in Niagara Falls, NY and he died on October 29, 1988. For many years Esther worked in the retail sales at several locations including S.S. Kresges, W.T. Grant Department Stores, Super Duper Supermarket and DiCamillo's Bakery. She also volunteered for many years at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and St. Mary's Manor on 6th Street. Esther was a member of St. Joseph Church and was active in their St. Vincent de Paul and Senior Societies. She enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S., Europe, and her many trips to Hawaii. 
    Her survivors include two children, Doreen Universal and John C. Donatelli; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Esther was predeceased by her husband; parents; daughter-in-law, the late Margaret 'Peggy' M. Donatelli; and two siblings, the late Jeanette Rizzutto and the late Frank Manente. 
    The family will be present to receive friends on Monday from 6-8 PM at the SPALLINO-AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls, NY. Family and friends are invited on Tuesday to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Ave., at 10 AM. Interment to immediately follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Niagara Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Esther's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
