    Notes:

    Lorraine Buchman, 69, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on Thursday, February 16th, 2017 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Niagara Falls, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Frances Scarfone. 

    Lorre attended local schools and graduated from the former LaSalle Senior High School. She owned and operated the former Solo Lounge on Niagara Street alongside her mother for many years. She was very active in the community, where she served as Vice President of the Niagara Street Business Association and President of the Board of Neighborhood Housing Services. 

    Lorre was an active and dedicated member of the Niagara Frontier Bible Church, a place she loved. In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family and friends. 

    She will be greatly missed by many. Lorre is survived by her children Richard (Donna Robertson) Buchman and Timothy (Carrie) Buchman; grandchildren Danielle Buchman, Nicholas Buchman, Zachary Buchman and Andrew Buchman; sisters Gina (Robert) Mollosky and Julie Scarfone; brother-in law Mike Brierley; daughter-in-law Terry Buchman as well as Lorre's former husband Richard (Tish) Buchman. She was also the niece of Frank (Barbara) Chirello and is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Lorraine was predeceased by her sister Tina Salhany and her brother Ronald Scarfone. 

    The family wishes to extend a special thanks to VNA and Landmark Nurses, as well as the nurses and staff of Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital for the care and compassion given to Lorre. 

    Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 19th from 4 – 8 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Funeral services will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Niagara Frontier Bible Church, 5287 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, NY. Entombment in Riverdale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Frontier Bible Church.
