    Notes:

    Sharon G. Shakarjian, 71 of Niagara Falls passed from this earthly life on Saturday July 1, 2017 at Elderwood at Wheatfield. Born Sharon Gail Gilbert, on September 7, 1945 in Welch, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Logan and Lois (Arnold) Gilbert Luciano.  She moved to Niagara Falls as a child attending local schools and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.

    She was employed as a production worker during the 1960’s at Texas Instruments.  She was involved in her church and prayer groups, enjoyed sewing, crocheting, both flower & vegetable gardening and had a girl’s true love of horses. 
    Survivors include her loving daughters: Karen Broussard of Wilson, Michelle (Michael) Beutel of Arcade and Sandra Shakarjian & Christina Shakarjian both of Niagara Falls. her beloved siblings: Larry, Ronald and Kenneth Gilbert, Linda Cantera, Donna Perrier and Lisa Rowland; her former husband Paul Shakarjian of Lockport, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces nephews and cousins. 
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Carol D’Anna, a brother Billy Gilbert and a grandson, David Broussard. 
    Family will be present Wednesday from 1-3 and 5-7 PM In the LANE FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 8622 Buffalo Avenue Niagara Falls, NY. where Funeral services will be held at 7 PM.   Private graveside services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Riverdale Cemetery, Town of Lewiston.
