    DUEGER - Mrs. Lena Dueger, nee Westphal. 85, died early Wednesday morning, Sept. 10. 1952 in DeGraff memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Germany, she had lived in North Tonawanda the past 80 years. She was a member of Friedens Evangelical and Reformed Church, the Woman's Guild and the Martha Sewing Circle of the church. Her husband, the late Charles Dueger, died in 1943. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Hugo Ewald, Mrs. Oliver Burgin, Mrs. Harry Janowsky, Mrs. Arthur Roloff, all of the Tonawandas, two sons Clarence of the Tonawandas and Stuart of Albany, N.Y.; 13 grand and 16 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Sprenger and Mrs. Minnie Behrens Andres; a brother Charles Westphal. Friends may call at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Janowsky 17 Hagen Ave., North Tonawanda where funeral services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Carl Berges will officiate. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery.

Mrs Janowsky was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, the Ladies Guild of the Church, the Sewing Circle, a 65 year member of Friedens Choir, and a member of the Salvation Army Golden Agers. Wife of the late Henery Janowsky who died in January 1984, she is survived by three sons, Ralph H (Florence) Janowsky of Pendleton, Lee M (Marjorie) Janowsky of North Tonawanda and Glenn (Ruth) Janowsky of Jamestown; one brother, Stuart Dueger of Texas and one sister, Mrs Ethel Roloff of North Tonawanda Grandmother of ten grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren and one greatgreatgrandchild. Also several nieces and nephews Mother of the late Owen Janowsky. Friends may call THURSDAY 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m at the Wattengel Funeral Home, Inc , 307 Oliver St., North Tonawanda Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m., at Friedens United Church of Christ, the Rev Dr Paul R Ritter officiating Interment Friedens Cemetery If desired, memorials may be made to Friedens United Church of Christ.

    DEATH CLAIMS R. DUEGER, TONAWANDA ATHLETE
    North Tonawanda, March 6 - Death last night claimed one of North Tonawanda's best known young men in Robert Dueger. He died of typhoid fever at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Charles Dueger, at No. 220 Hagen Avenue. Dueger was born in North Tonawanda 21 years ago and had lived here all his life. He was a baseball and football player of ability. As captain and manager of the National baseball nine last season he played first base and led his team as a batter and fielder. He played on the All-Tonawanda football eleven and on other teams.

    Edward W. Dueger, 29 years old, died last night at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dueger No. 288 Niagara street, North Tona wanda. Dueger was a life-long resident of the Tonawandas. Besides his parents he is survived by a wife, a son, LaVerne; a daughter, Doris; two brothers, Clarence and Stewart Dueger, and four sisters, Mrs. Hugo Ewald, Mrs. Oliver Burgin, Mrs. Henry Janowsky and Miss Ethel Dueger, all of the Tonawandas. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the late residence and half an hour later from the Frieden's church, Rev. E. A. Schultz officiating, Burial will be in Friedens cemetery. Dueger was a member of Electric City Lodge, IOOF.

    Jeff married Julie (Jamieson) July 11, 2006. He was a talented welder/fabricator and loved working in his garage on various projects. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiles with his wife and boys.
    Surviving Jeff is his wife Julie Roloff and his step-sons: Luke and John Tyler both at home. Son of: Fredrika (James) Domske of Tonawanda and Jack Roloff of Austin, TX. Son-in-law of: William and Barbara Jamieson of Middleport. Brother of: Jill (Robert) Sexton of Austin, TX. Brother-in-law of: Vicki (Robert) Everett of Boston, Mass., Richard (Kathy) Jamieson of Gasport and James Jamieson of Middleport. Jeff is also survived by several cousins and many dear friends.
    Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from Zion Lutheran Church, 4447 Central Avenue, Gasport, NY with the Reverend Rodney Klinzing officiating.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Roswell Park Cancer Institute or Zion Lutheran church.
