    Edward Arthur Sherwood, age 81, of Hermitage, TN, died April 18, 2018. Mr. Sherwood was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Upon entering the military, he studied Russian in Monterey, CA, and served in the Army Security Agency for six years. He was a retired architect with Gould Turner Group, and after retirement he worked at the Hermitage Walmart as a greeter. Mr. Sherwood enjoyed fishing, gardening and loved baseball, especially the NY Yankees. He loved his family and was so proud of his grandkids and great-grandkids. He shared stories about them with his many Walmart customers! He will be missed greatly by his special four-legged friend, Sadie.
    Mr. Sherwood was the son of the late, Clarence and Alfretta Sherwood. He was also preceded in death by one brother; and three sisters. He is survived by wife of 57 years, Belva Sherwood; children, Michael (Laurie) Sherwood, Pam (Patrick) Bruce and James Sherwood; grandchildren, Eric (Rachel) Sherwood, Ashley (Jon) Spear, Andrea (Shelton) Robinson, Jonathan Bruce and Paige Bruce; great-grandchildren, Jordan Robinson, Cora Sherwood, Mila Robinson and Oliver Sherwood; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time Sunday at Bond Memorial Chapel, N. Mt. Juliet Road and Weston Drive, Mt. Juliet, TN. (615)773-2663. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Bond Memorial Chapel with M. Eric Sherwood officiating. Interment with full Military Honors will be conducted at a later date.     Marian E. Forth, 89, Sanborn, NY, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Facility in Lockport, NY. She was born in the Town of Wheatfield, NY, on March 1, 1926, the daughter of the late Glenn and Bessie [Watts] Sherwood.

    Mrs. Forth was a member of the Shawnee Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Forth enjoyed the out of doors, camping, fishing, playing Bingo and doing crossword puzzles.

    She was the wife of the late Edward R. Forth, who died in August of 2006.
    Mrs. Forth is survived by two daughters, Linda Drapo of Las Vegas, NV and Patricia Bulka of Nashua, NH, one sister Donna Valery, a sister in law Yvonne Sherwood, also 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, many nieces, nephews and her cat Dicey. She was the mother of the late Michael Forth and sister of the late Dale, Leland, Robert and Clayton Sherwood and Vesta Snellgrove.

    The family will be present on Monday from 6-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Ronald Lord officiating.

    Leland W. Sherwood, 50, of 3700 Lockport Road, Sanborn, died Saturday (Aug. 19, 1972) in the Alexandria Hospital, Alexander Bay, shortly after being admitted. He was on vacation in that area and suffered an apparent heart attack. He was a native of Sanborn and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy; He was employed at the Niagara Mohwak Power Corp. as an electrician for more than 20 years. He was an exempt member of the Shawnee Volunteer Fire Company, and of St. Paul's United Methodist Church of Christ, at Shawnee. Survivors include his widow, Alice (Lemke) Sherwood; two sons, Timothy G., and Dan R. Sherwood and a daughter, Karen M. Sherwood, all at home; his father, Glen Sherwood of Sanborn; three brothers, Dale G. Sherwood of Layton, Utah, Robert E. Sherwood of Texas and Clayton E. Sherwood of Sanborn; three sisters, Mrs. John (Vesta) Snelgrove, Mrs. Edward (Marian) Forth, both of Sanborn, and Mrs. John (Donna) Valery of Lockport. Funeral services will be held at the Rhoney Funeral Home, Inc., 5893 Hoover Road, Sanborn, Wednesday at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Wheatfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rhoney Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday and Tuesday.

    He was born in Lockport, NY ,  on September 29, 1940, the a son of the late John and Vesta  [Sherwood] Snelgrove.
    Mr. Snelgrove graduated from Starpoint and became a millwright with National Grinding Wheel for 25 years and later at Dunlop (Goodyear) Tire for 20 years before retiring in 2008.
    He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed spending time at his cottage in the 1,000 Islands and watching NASCAR.
    Mr. Snelgrove is survived by his wife of 55 years Judith A. [Mayer] Snelgrove, two sons Glenn (Kelly) and Todd (Malissa Beutel) Snelgrove, five grandchildren Jennifer (Philip) Olson, Jonathan, Joshua, Jaret and Jacob Snelgrove, a sister Nancy (George) O'Neil.
    His family will be present on Sunday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.
    Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice.
    Interment in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY
