    Karren (Gaul) P. Plant, 80, of North Tonawanda, Tuesday (September 29, 2020) at home surrounded by family under the care of Niagara Hospice. Karren was born in North Tonawanda on October 13, 1939 to Walter and Emma (Mye) Gaul. Karren was a lifelong member of Friedens United Church of Christ, she retired from the Niagara County Sheriff Office as a Corrections Officer. Karren was predeceased by her brothers Richard and Ronald Gaul.
    Karren is survived by her son Robert (Cheryl) Plant, grandmother of Jacob, Amanda, Sara, and Sean, sister of Bonnie Cunningham, Thomas Gaul, and sister in law of Pat Gaul, also surviving are many loving nieces and nephews .
    Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, NY, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice.https://www.niagarahospice.org. Bonnie was a lifelong resident of North Tonawanda, former Cafeteria cook for the North Tonawanda School District, and life member of Friedens United Church of Christ. Bonnie was predeceased by her sister Karen Plant, brothers Richard and Ronald Gaul, and grandson Adam Tafelski.
    Bonnie is survived by her children Todd (Pam) Tafelski, Lori Tafelski, and Kathy Tripi, grandmother of Matthew Tafelski, Stephanie Dee, Cassidy and Charles Tripi, and Stephanie Figueroa.
    sister of Thomas Gaul, and sister in law of Pat Gaul, also surviving are many nieces and nephews .
    Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive North Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment Friedens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice.

    Richard M. Gaul
    Of Wheatfield, age 89, went to heaven September 15, 2018
    He was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee Jackson) for 65 years. He was the son of the late Walter and Emma (nee Mye) Gaul. Loving father of Sandra, Robert and Tami. Proud grandfather of Shawn, Christopher, Beau and Dayne Gaul, Bryan, Samantha and Austin Anderson. Great granddaughter Willow will arrive in February. He is survived by his sisters; Karren, Bonnie, brother, Tom and late brother Ronnie and sister-in-law Jean. Also many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Richard assembled jukeboxes at Wurlitzer and was a dedicated distributor for Coca-Cola for over 40 years. Richard was a proud U.S. Army Veteran in the late 50's
    Visitation Saturday 1 to 3 PM in the WATTENGEL FUNERAL HOME, 533 Meadow Drive North Tonawanda where a Service will follow at 3 PM with the Rev. Thomas Hardy officiating. Richard was a third-generation member of Friedens United Church of Christ. Flowers gratefully declined memorials may be made to Parkinson’s Research. Online guest registry at www.wattengel.com
