    Gary A. Balcom of Wilson, NY formerly of Burt, NY husband of Brenda Blackley Balcom entered into rest Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Eastern Niagara Hospital Lockport, NY. He was born in Lockport, NY November 6, 1945, the son of the late James and Geraldine Seefeldt Balcom. Gary retired from Harrison Radiator in 1999, after 31 years in production and inspection. He married Brenda Blackley May 16, 2007. Gary was an exempt member of Miller Hose Fire Company and a member of NYS Fire Police Association. He enjoyed fishing, stock car racing and enjoying time with his family, especially his granddaughter. Father of Christina Balcom, Tammy (Jeff) Miller, Theresa Balcom Draper all of Lockport and the late Vicki and Rita Balcom. Brother of Jack Balcom of Newfane, NY and the late Carol Clapsaddle and Barb  Merrick. Also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. No prior visitation. A Memorial Services will be held SATURDAY February 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Newfane United Methodist Church Main St. Newfane, NY. Memorials to Miller Hose Fire Company PO Box 99 Newfane, NY 14108 would be appreciated by the family
