    David Wood of Newfane, NY husband of Vicky Forsyth Wood entered into rest on Monday February 18, 2019 at home under Hospice care. He was born in Lockport, NY on February 3, 1943, the son of the late Warren and Berryl Harwood Wood. Dave was a Mechanical draftsman for Chemical Design in Lockport, NY. He enjoyed NASCAR, Dirt racing and spending time with his whole family. Father of Kimberly Wood of Webster, Massachusetts, Richard (Elizabeth) Wood of Hilton, New York and Wendy (Dale) Fritz. Grandfather of Grant and Colin Wood and Cathryn and Jarrett Fritz. Brother of Roger Wood of Byron, New York. Son in law of Richard Forsyth and the late Vivian Forsyth. Brother in law of Sally (Chris) Weber, Patty (Robbie) Forsyth and William (Allison) Forsyth. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Dave's nieces Stephanie, Sandra and Madison for all of their compassionate care. No prior visitation. A private burial will be held in Corwin Cemetery. Memorials in Dave's name to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
