    Gladys L. Palmeri, 73, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on August 23, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in Erie, PA.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Fetcho.
    Gladys was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School in Niagara Falls.  On October 25, 1969, she married James Palmeri, Jr. at St. Joseph Church.  Mr. Palmeri predeceased her on May 18, 2016 after 46 years of marriage.  She was employed with Fairchild Manor in Laundry, and later with Voyager Emblem in Lockport, NY, where she worked as a patch maker for 15 years.  Gladys enjoyed playing Bingo.  Above all, she was extremely family oriented, and loved spending time with her grandchildren, who referred to her lovingly as Nana.
    Gladys is survived by her children, Michael Palmeri, Christina Palmeri, and Stephen Palmeri; her grandchildren, Mercedes, Camille, James, Nicoli, and Sophia; her great-granddaughter, Sage, and her cousin, Linda (late Jerry) Richardson.
    Per Gladys wishes, there will be no prior visitation or services.  Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
