Richard was the owner and operator of Herlan's Liquor Store for 63 years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, baseball and was a past member of Miller Hose Fire Co. and Newfane Lions Club. Father of Dennis R. Herlan, Kevin M. (Renee) Herlan, Michael J. (Elizabeth) Herlan and Timothy A. (Colleen) Herlan. Grandfather of Cameron, Ryan, Quinn, Gavin, Faith, Emaleigh, Samantha, Sydney and Aiden. Brother of Nancy H. Armanno. Uncle of Scott, Bruce and Heather. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 6pm at the Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations to Newfane Lions Club PO BOX 254 Newfane, NY 14108.
