Nancy I. Franjoine age 95, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully in her family’s presence on November 18, 2019 at her home. Born on July 9, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Raphael and Maria (Ziti) Sirianni.       
Nancy attended local schools, worked for Bell Aerospace and was a self-employed professional hairdresser for many years on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls. While working at Bell, Nancy was an avid baseball player and member of the Bell Aircraft Cobras baseball team. In addition, she was a longtime member of St. Vincent DePaul Parish at Prince of Peace Church.
Mrs. Franjoine was the wife of the late Angelo Franjoine, who she married in 1957. Mr. Franjoine predeceased her in March 2001. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Mary Rose Franjoine; two sons, Angelo (Lori) Franjoine and Robert Franjoine, her grandchildren, Angelo and Anthony Franjoine as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Peter Sirianni, Rosemary (late Frank) Falvo, Ida Sirianni, Frank (late Josephine) Sirianni, Natalie (Sam) Mistretta, Jennie (late Samuel) Berak, Florence (late Benjamin) Gaetano, and Angelo Sirianni.
The children of Nancy would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Niagara Hospice, especially their mom’s nurses, Judy and Christine, and to their mom’s caregivers, Becky and Joanne for their excellent loving care.

Angelo J. Franjoine, 62, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on May 5, 2022 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Angelo E. and Nancy I. (Sirianne) Franjoine.
Angelo attended local schools, graduating from LaSalle High School. He was employed at American Axle in Tonawanda, NY as an Electrician, and later at Olin Chemical Corp. in Niagara Falls as a Chemical Operator. Angelo was a member of the LaSalle Yacht Club.  He enjoyed gardening, restoring cars, especially his red Corvettes, boating on the Upper Niagara River and barbecues at home with family and friends.
Angelo is survived by his wife, Lori A. (Goupil) Franjoine; his sons, Angelo F. Franjoine and Anthony J. Franjoine, N.F.P.D.; his siblings, Mary Rose Franjoine and Robert A. Franjoine as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 9 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 11:15 AM, followed by Angelo’s Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 N. Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Dominic E. ‘Butch’ Gaetano, 79, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on October 18, 2022 at Buffalo General Hospital.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Benjamin N. and Florence M. (Sirianni) Gaetano.
Butch was raised in Niagara Falls and graduated from Trott Vocational.  He later attended SUNY Cortland, where he played football, graduated from Buffalo State University, and earned a Master’s Degree from Niagara University.  He proudly served in the United States Army in Vietnam as a Helicopter Radio Control Operator during the Tet Offensive from 1966 until his honorable discharge in 1968.  In 1972, he married Joan M. (Dwyer) Gaetano. 
Dominic was employed for 31 years with the Niagara Falls Board of Education, as a Special Education Teacher, retiring in 2001.  Butch was a member of the Niagara Falls and New York State United Teachers Unions, as was a member of LaSalle Yacht Club.  Butch enjoyed golfing and bowling, and was an avid Buffalo Bills and Penn State Football Fan.  More than anything, he loved taking care of his family, and especially cherished attending his granddaughters’ music and sporting events.
In addition to his wife of 50 years, Dominic is survived by his children, Noelle J. (Rick Rees) Gaetano and Dominic J. Gaetano; his granddaughters, Allison and Emily; his sister, Patricia (William) LaChance, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kristen M. Berak, 48, of Niagara Falls, NY, entered into rest peacefully at her home on Friday, October 19, 2018.  Born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Sharon (Salvatore) DeMarco and Carl (DeSales) Berak. 
Kristen attended local schools and graduated from Niagara Catholic. She worked as a waitress for numerous restaurants in the area and recently worked for Niagara Mohawk in customer service. She was loved by her family and friends and was always there to lend a helping hand.
In addition to her parents, Kristen is survived by her sister and best friend, Karri Berak (Vincent Bonura); and her cherished nephew, Vin Bonura who called her, “Aunt Kursey.” She is also survived by her step-brothers, Jordan Toohey and Joseph Toohey; her uncle Tony (fiancé Diane) Berak; and many cousins, as well as her dear friends, Rob and Sarah who referred to Kristen like a Mother; and her beloved dog, Diamond.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, October 24th from 3 – 7 p.m. at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY.
