Marie L.. Buike, 69 years old, died
Sunday afternoon at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Fred Engel, 76 Allen
street, after a lingering illness. She
was born in Germany. For the past 43
years she has been a resident of North
Tonawanda. She is survived by her
husband, Wiliam Buike; two daugh--
ters, Mrs Engel and Mrs Dale DeWire
of North Tonawanda, three sons,
Frank, Edward and Otto Buike, of
North Tonawanda; nine grandchildren,
two sisters, Mrs. Otto Karre of North
Tonawanda and Mrs. Augusta Giode of
Germany and a brother Frank Schultz
of Germany. Mrs. Buicke was a mem-
ber of the Ladies Aid Society of St.
Paul's church, East Felton street. The
funeral will be held tomorrow after-
noon at 2:30 o'clock aat the Engel resi-
dence, Rev. Ernest Schneppe, officiat-
ing. Burial will be at Elmlawn.

Loved Nana of great-grandchildren, Dominic, Anthony and Julianna Petrosino. Treasured sister of Geraldine Heller (nee Karre) and the late LaVerne Karre. Sister-in-law of Barbara Nowocien (nee Drake) and the late James Heller. One of the last surviving members of the Inter Amicas Club of North Tonawanda, founded March 10th, 1938, by a group of North Tonawanda High School girls, who until recently met on a regular basis. They celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 1988. Clyde N. Drake, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2024. Clyde was born in North Tonawanda NY, was an avid model airplane gas racer enthusiast in his youth. A graduate of North Tonawanda High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean war; stationed in Germany as a Chief Track Vehicle Mechanic. He spent the majority of his career as a Machinist at Columbus McKinnon in Tonawanda NY and as a Real Estate Investor later in life. He was an avid golfer, bowler, enjoyed woodworking and time in his workshop. He fully embraced Lake Life with his favorite hobby and place to be at the family home on Rushford Lake. Clyde was a dedicated family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife Helene, family and friends.
Son of the late Clyde N. Drake Sr. and Marion E. Drake. Loving husband of Helene Drake (nee Zefferys). Father of Michael (Nicole) Drake. Grandfather of Melissa (Ryan) Seymore , Brittany (Adam) Seymore , Olivia Drake and Sophia Drake. Great grandfather to Riley, Lydia and John. Brother to the late Edna Harber (nee Drake)
Delores Neale (nee Drake) and David Drake. He will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
