    Josephine M. Guetta, 93, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed from this life on October 12, 2020 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY surrounded by her family.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Vincenza (Palillo) Gagliardo.
    Josephine attended local schools and graduated from Trott Vocational High School in 1944, where she was a cheerleader.  She married Anthony R. Guetta on October 12, 1947 at St. Joseph’s Church.  Mr. Guetta predeceased her in 1962.  Josephine was employed in the Dietary Department at The Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center and also worked as a store clerk at J.C. Penney’s.
    Josephine was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Church, serving as Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Purgatorio, Madonna del Carmine, Madonna del Perpetuo Soccorso, Fatima, and St. Joseph’s Senior Societies.  In addition, she was very active in the St. Joseph’s Mother’s Club as well as at the former Bishop Duffy High School whilst her children were attending those schools. She was also a member of the Red Hatter’s Society, and enjoyed cooking. Josephine was a dedicated caregiver and a beautiful person with a heart of gold.  Above all her life centered around her family.
    Mrs. Guetta is survived by her children, Ralph (Kathi) Guetta, Anthony (Paula) Guetta, and Michael (Anne Marie) Guetta; her grandchildren, Amanda Guetta, Todd Guetta (Alexandra Bazzani), Ralph Guetta II (Fiancee Sandy Thomas), Tony (Shanna) Guetta, Danielle (Neal) Urban Christina (Mike) Mastroianni, Marie (Robert) Cushman and Michael Guetta; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Collin Guetta, Julia and Elena Guetta, Adriana, Dominic, and Vincent Mastroianni, and Leah and Rose Cushman; her siblings, Antoinette (Guido) Fontanarosa and Armando (Jeannette) Pucci, her sister-in-law, Theresa Gagliardo as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Maria Guetta and her siblings, Anthony Gagliardo and Yolanda “Patty” (late Robert Sr.) Hargrave.
    Josephine’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 16 at 12 PM at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY.  All those attending are requested to follow COVID-19 precautions, including maintain social distancing guidelines and wearing masks.  Private interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094 or to the Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter, 6215 Sheridan Drive #100, Buffalo, NY 14221.  Arrangements by M.J.     Antoinette Fontanarosa, 92, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 9th.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Vincenza (Palillo) Gagliardo; and beloved wife of Guido F. Fontanarosa, whom she married at St. Joseph Church in 1950.  Mr. Fontanarosa predeceased her on July 19, 2021.
    Antoinette was a truly devoted homemaker; a job she took very seriously.  To say she was an extraordinary cook would be an understatement; there was no meatball on earth comparable to hers.  Her entire life revolved around her caring for her family, something that made her happy as well as proud. She will always be remembered for her feisty personality and endless amount of energy as well as her interesting selection of expletives that she used in the most endearing way.  She will be deeply missed.
    Antoinette is survived by her children, Peter Fontanarosa, Paul (Susan) Fontanarosa and Mary (Daniel) McGovern; her daughter-in-law, Donna Fontanarosa; and Elizabeth Corieri, who was like a daughter to her; her grandchildren, David (Erika) Fontanarosa, Peter (Emily) Fontanarosa, Mia Fontanarosa, Samuel Fontanarosa, Gino Fontanarosa, Daniel (Christina) McGovern, Jr., and Austin McGovern; her great-grandchildren, Ava, Lou, Juliette, Alice, Lucy, Millie, Olivia Fontanarosa,  Daniel III and Mack McGovern; her brother Armando (Jeanette) Pucci; her sister-in-law Theresa Gagliardo; as well as many dear friends, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband of 71 years, she was predeceased by her sisters, Josephine (late Anthony) Guetta and Yolanda “Patty” (late Robert Sr.) Hargrave, and her brother, Anthony (Theresa) Gagliardo, as well as her brothers-in-laws and sisters in-laws, Ennio (late Nevia) Fontanarosa, Mary (late Sam) Gullo, Ella (late Cosmo) Grizanti, Raffaela (late Archangelo) Frisina, Emily (late Joseph) Penque, Gino (late Mary) Fontanarosa, Alberto Fontanarosa.
    Visitation will be on Sunday, November 14 from 4 - 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Antoinette’s Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 AM in Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, followed by entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery.     Austin McGovern, 24, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on December 23, 2022. Raised in Lewiston, he was the loving son of Daniel and Mary (Fontanarosa) McGovern.
    Austin was a 2016 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School and obtained his Welding Certificate from NCCC. For the past three and a half years, he was employed by the Niagara Falls Water Board where he loved what he did, but loved his coworkers even more. This special group of friends became a second family to him. Prior to that, Austin worked at Coppins Service Center in Lewiston, always taking great pride in the new mechanical skills he learned from Jay.
    An avid outdoorsman, Austin enjoyed hunting, target shooting, four-wheeling, and off-roading in his Jeep. Austin and his dad worked on multiple projects together where he learned more about life and love than anything else.
    Austi shared a special bond with his grandparents; spending time with them was a constant in his life. He lived for the times spent with his family, especially with his brother Daniel, Christina and precious nephews, Danny and Mack.
    Austi will be greatly remembered for his kind soul and heart of gold. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten in the hearts of his beloved family and countless friends.
    In addition to his parents, Austin is survived by his brother, Daniel (Christina) McGovern, Jr.; his nephews, Daniel III and Mack McGovern; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Lucia McGovern; as well as several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Guido and Antoinette Fontanarosa.
    Visitation will be Friday, December 30 from 3 – 8 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Austin’s Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY. Please assemble at Church. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
