    Sister to Edith (James) Faery of East Amherst NY, Wilma (Ronald) Hurtgam of Barker NY, and Steven (Sue) Bayles of West Palm Beach, FL, and the late William (Joyce) Bayles of Lockport, NY; wife of the late Allen Retzlaff (d.1958) and John Hartmann (d.1996); mother of Glenn (Wayne) Hartmann of Fulton, NY, Paul (Terry) Hartmann of Tucson, AZ, Nancy (Miriam) Hartmann of Haverhill, MA, and Brian (Kelly) Hartmann of Norfolk VA; loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 19 nieces and nephews.

    Edith B Faery June 4, 1929-Janury 31, 2022Edith B. Faery of East Amherst, NY, formally from Wilson. NY, passed peacefully, at home. under the care of Hospice Buffalo on Monday, January 31, 2022 surrounded by family and loved ones. Edith was the daughter of William and Mildred Shirley Bayles. Edith loved her church and music ministry. She was church organist for 30 years, Eucharistic Minister and member of the Rosary Altar Society at Immaculate Conception Church. She also sold Avon for 16 years. Edith was predeceased by her husband James.Edith is survived by her sister Wilma (late Ron) Hurtgam, Barker NY; Brother Steven (Sue) Bayles, Palm City FL; Sister in law, Joyce Bayles, Lockport, NY. Edith leaves her 4 children Linda (late Richard) Reynolds, Oswego, NY; Fran (Nancy) Faery, East Amherst, NY; Cynthia (Raymond) Spoth, Newfane, NY and Louis Faery (Jennifer), Wilson, NY. Edith’s 9 Grandchildren include: Raymond Spoth, Lexi Lindberg, Maria Reynolds (Gregg), Ryan Spoth (Kaitlyn), Adam (Jessica)Piedmont, Steven Reynolds, Nathan Spoth (Rebekka), Maxwell and Morgan Faery as well as 10 great grandchildren. Edith was predeceased by brother William Bayles and sister, Shirley (late John) Hartmann.Family & Friends may gather at 10am, Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Church 4671 Townline Road Ransomville, NY 14131 for a Christian Burial with the Rev.
