    Samuel Arthur Mangel, Jr., of Niagara Falls, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 after a brief illness. He was 74. He was born in Niagara Falls on April 18, 1946, a son of the late Samuel Arthur, Sr. and Stasha (Bickford) Mangel.
    He worked at Saint Gobain (formerly Carborundum) for 26 years before retiring. He was also a lifelong member of the LaSalle Sportsman's Club.
    He was an avid Bills fan and outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing as well as golfing and bowling.
    He is survived by two children, Garrett (Tia) Mangel and Brian Mangel; and six siblings, Eleanor Haag, Mildred Craine, Albert (Vicki) Mangel, Thomas (Robin) Mangel, Kenny (Terri) Mangel and Terry Joe Mangel. Also survived by 17 nieces and nephews; and one grandchild, Elliott. He is predeceased by two nephews.
    There will be no visitation or services at this time.

She was born in Bradford, PA on January 17, 1940, daughter of the late Samuel Mangel Sr. and Stasha (Bickford) Mangel. She was retired from Fisher-Price of Medina, NY. She was predeceased by her late husband William H. Haag, her son William H. Haag Jr. and two brothers, Samuel Mangel Jr. and Albert Mangel. She is survived by three sons, Gary Haag, Jerry (Ruby) Haag and Daryl (Jennifer) Haag. She is survived by four siblings, Mildred Craine, Thomas (Robin) Mangel, Kenny (Terri) Mangel and Terry Joe Mangel. Also survived by 22 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 16 nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation or services at this time.

    Obituary of Mildred E. Craine

    Mildred E. Craine, age 77, died June 14, 2021 in Niagara Hospice following a long illness. 
    She was born August 24, 1943 in Niagara Falls to Samuel and Stasha (Bickford) Mangel and had lived in this area all of her life. 
    Mildred was a member of the Community Fellowship Church in Johnson Creek, a member and Board Member of the Hartland Historical Society, and enjoyed gardening, playing cards and her ice chips.  She was a true advocate for family time which was evident by her weekly Sunday dinners.  Mildred was a kind, caring and loving person who truly loved her family but had a special love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Mrs. Craine was predeceased by her husband: Ken Craine, a son: Allan, brothers: Albert and Samuel Mangel and a sister: Eleanor Haag. 
    She is survived by her children: Dean Voelker of Appleton, Barbara (Bill) Mongeon of Gasport, her brothers: Thomas (Robin) Mangel of Lockport, Kenneth (Terri) Mangel of MD, Terry Joe Mangel of MD, her grandchildren: Luke, Matthew, Abraham, Chad, Justin, Miranda, her great grandchildren: Madison, Theodore, Case, Amilia, Charlotte, Emerson, several nieces and nephews as well as her grand-pups: Willow and Sadie. 
    There will be no calling hours and a private service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. 
    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hartland Historical Society, 9713 Seaman Rd., Middleport, NY, 14105.

    Gary Haag of Barker, NY entered into rest on Saturday, March 2, 2024 in Buffalo, NY. He was born in Sarasota, Florida on December 9, 1958, son of the late William and Eleanor Mangel Haag. Gary drove Truck and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.
    Father of David (Kim) Conert, Ericka (Mike) Evans and Jeremiah (Julie Dean) Conert. Brother of Jerry (Ruby) Haag, Daryl (Jennifer) Haag and the late B.I. Haag. Also survived by his ex-wife and good friend Mary Lou Haag, girlfriend Erica Farrow, 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. No prior visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at later date.
