Notes:

Caroline Waschke who was born on April 1, 1819 was from Germany. She came to America with her husband John Krueger in 1873 along with three sons Julius, Charles and Frederick, who preceded them to North Star, Brown County, the son, Charles taking a homestead. They acquired an eighty from Charles and lived in North Star all their lives. Mrs Krueger died in 1896 and her husband died two years later. They had seven children in all. Charles, Ferdinand Ed both of Springfield Minnesota. Also children included Mrs. William J. Meyers and Mrs Julius Borchardt, who were wives of Springfield Farmers.

Died - In North Star, Aug.5th, of appendicitis, Fritz Krueger, aged 52 years. Deceased leaves a large family, consisting of a wife and eight children, who in their great bereavement have the sympathy of all.
