    Notes:

    Thomas A. Trapasso, Sr., 81, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on October 4, 2021 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY he was the son of the late Albert and Anne (Matteucci) Trapasso.
    Tommy graduated from Niagara Falls High School and attended Niagara University.  He was employed as a lifelong Operating Engineer and Heavy Equipment Operator starting his career with the Operating Engineers Local 463 in 1959, working on the Niagara Power Project and later with the City of Niagara Falls in 1963.  In total, he worked with the Operating Engineers for 62 years until his retirement.
    Tommy enjoyed traveling around the country with his wife Celia Dean (Westefield) Trapasso whom he married in 1991.  He also enjoyed day trading, watching stock market TV programs, and meeting his friends for morning coffee discussions.   He loved his horse Dixie, dogs Maxwell and Zack, and his many cats.
    In addition to his wife Celia Dean of 30 years, Mr. Trapasso is survived by his children, Thomas A. (Lisa) Trapasso, Jr. and Linda (David) Kok; grandchildren, Tyler, Nicholas, Michael and Christopher Trapasso and David (Francesca), Jacob and Steven Kok; great-granddaughter, Giuliana and special niece Amy (Mike) Stillwell.
    Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9, from 10 – 11 AM followed by Tommy’s funeral services at 11 AM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.  Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.  If desired memorials may be made to an Animal Rescue of your choice.  Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
