    Kathryn "Kay" GregorskiMARCH 2, 1927 - DECEMBER 25, 2021​​​​​​ ​​Kathryn "Kay" Gregorski, 94, of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Christmas Day 2021.  Born in Lewiston on her family's farm, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Veronica (Najewski) Jakubowski.​On October 6, 1956, Kay married Frank Gregorski at Holy Trinity Church.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Kay was the sweetest person who enjoyed bingo and trips to Las Vegas with her sisters and nieces.  She worked at Kimberly Clark before her marriage and retired from Carborundum. ​In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters; Ruth (John) DelZoppo, Julia Gregorski, Kathy (Peter Zabel), Judy (Sam) Gatto; her son, Frank (Laurie) Gregorski; grandchildren, Teagen (Jed) Clement, Alex (Maria) Gregorski, Sara (Jack) Hornung, Jacquelyn Gatto, Sadie Petito, John DelZoppo, Matt Zabel and great-grandchildren, Aliana, Kaleb, and Jack.  Kay is also survived by her sisters, MaryAnne (late Louis) Mari and Stephanie (late Chuck) Boos; brother-in-law Richard (Patricia) Gregorski; sister-in-law Florence (late Edwin) Gregorskiand many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by sisters, Genevieve (Stanley) Kasprzak, Jenny (Edgar) Sayers, Laura Dolansky, Sophie Walaszek, Rose (Duke) Maj; brothers, Henry (Charlotte) Jakubowski as well as sisters and brother-in-law Clara Palka and Joe and Lottie Gregorski.​Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 until 7 pm at Historic Holy Trinity Church, 1419 Falls Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 9:30 am at Divine Mercy Parish, Niagara and 24th streets with Rev. Jacek P.     TOWN OF NIAGARA — Edwin W. Kasprzak, 70, of the Town of Niagara, died on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, NY. Born in Lewiston, NY, he was the son of the late Stanley and Genevieve (Jakubowski) Kasprzak.

    Edwin was a lifelong resident of the Niagara Falls area. During the Vietnam War he served in the U.S. Army from November 29, 1963 until his honorable discharge on November 12, 1965. He was employed at DuPont Chemical Co. in Niagara Falls, NY and retired in 1999 after thirty years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Portage Post #1465 in Niagara Falls, NY. Edwin was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and boating.

    Mr. Kasprzak is survived by one sister, Sally (Frank) Raisig of Ransomville, NY; one brother, Stanley (late Diane) Kasprzak of Niagara Falls, NY; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister, Carol (Frederick of Niagara Falls, NY) Watson; two nephews, Frederick Watson and Robert Raisig.

    Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will begin on Saturday, March 19th at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Vincent De Paul at St. Leo's Church, 2748 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Interment with Military Honors in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

    Sally A. Raisig, age 79 of Ransomville, died Friday November 11, 2016 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston after a lengthy illness.


    Sally was born January 2, 1937 in Youngstown, NY, the daughter of the late Stanley and Genevieve (Jakubowski) Kasprzak. She was a 1955 graduate of Niagara Falls High School and went to work for E.I. DuPont Co. after graduation, until 1957. Sally married Frank F. Raisig on May 4, 1957 and they moved to Ransomville in 1974. She returned to work in 1975 and clerked at the Towne Pharmacy in Niagara Falls until 1981 when she left there and began working at K-Mart in Niagara Falls. Sally worked at K-Mart until 1998.




    She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Ransomville. Sally enjoyed knitting, crafts, going to the casino, traveling, and was an avid reader.




    In addition to her husband, Frank, she is survived by her children, Bruce Raisig of Niagara Falls, NY, Tracey (Edward) Depasquale of Ft. White, FL, and Wendy Raisig of Chesterland, OH. She was predeceased by a son, Robert P. Raisig in 1992, a brother, Edwin Kasprzak and a sister, Carol Watson.


    Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 16, 9:30 AM in the Immaculate Conception RC Church, 4671 Townline Rd. (Rte. 429) Ransomville, with the Rev. James Bastian officiating. (Please assemble at Church).

    Burial will follow in Dickersonville Cemetery, Lewiston. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the Ransomville Free Library, P.O. Box 280, Ransomville, NY 14131, or to the Ransomville Vol. Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, PO Box 239, Ransomville, NY 14131.
