    Herman D. Mueller, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2009 in Northgate Manor Health Care Facility. He was born in the Town of Pendleton, NY, on January 22, 1924, the son of the late Herman G. and Rosa [Heschke] Mueller. Mr. Mueller served with General Patton's 3rd Army, in the European Theater during World War II. After the war he was employed at the Herschell Carrousel Factory and later became a checker at National Grinding Wheel in North Tonawanda, for over 30 years, before retiring in 1989. He operated Mueller's Auto Body and Paint Shop, in Sanborn for many years. Mr. Mueller was a member of the Sanborn American Legion. He enjoyed camping, restoring and showing his antique cars at area shows and saleing (garage saleing). He was the husband of the late Genevieve R. (Perry) Mueller, who died in February of 2000. Mr. Mueller is survived by four sons, Robert (Beth) Mueller of Hilton, NY, David (Joann) Mueller of Newfane, NY, James and William Mueller both of Ransomville, NY; also seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Carl W. Mueller.
