    Age 78, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on July 20, 2022 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  Born on February 3, 1944 in North Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of the late Michael and Irene (nee Tomaszewski) Kisiel. On July 4, 1966, he married Karen A. Travis.  Don graduated from North Tonawanda High School and earned his associates degree from Niagara University.  He worked for Bell Aircraft Corporation, Roadway Trucking, Occidental Chemical and retired from 3M.  Don was currently employed by Tuscarora Village in the Town of Niagara, where he worked in maintenance. He will be deeply missed by the residents of the village.  Don was a devout Catholic, a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in North Tonawanda and attended St. Jude the Apostle Church in North Tonawanda.  In addition to his beloved wife, Don is survived by children, Nicholas Kisiel and Dawn (Dion) Rickard; cherished granddaughters, Olivia and Marisa and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by siblings, Michael (Jeane) Kisiel, Jr. and Dennis Kisiel and brother-in-laws, Donald (Linda) Travis, James Travis and Charles 'Chuck' (late Katie) Travis.  The family will be present to receive friends on Monday, from 2-8 p.m. at the OTTO REDANZ FUNERAL HOME, 2215 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY (716-297-9007), where Don’s funeral service and life celebration will be held on Tuesday, July 26th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Stuart Buisch officiating.  Friends invited. Prayers of committal and interment will follow in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Niagara County SPCA and/or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Professional arrangements are under the care of the Goodlander family.
