    Marilynn Herowski, 90, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on October 28, 2022 in her home, surrounded by loved ones.Marilynn was the owner of Cataract Printing Service in Niagara Falls, a family business for 98 years. She was also very active in the community as a Real Estate Broker, a Judge for Canadian figure skating, the first woman President of the Echo Society, Chairman of the Niagara Falls Republican Party, a lifetime member of the Red Jacket Club, and worked with both Girl and Boy Scouts. She founded the Echo Polonia Tancerze, a Polish folk dancing group, and was thrilled to be invited to take the group to Disney World to perform at Epcot Center's International Music Days.She was happiest when her family came together, which they did for weekly movie nights, Buffalo Bills games and every holiday. Marilynn was co-founder of The Explorer's Club, which brought her extended family and friends together to visit and enjoy the wonderful events, places and activities in Western New York.She is survived by daughters Marcia Malizie, Kathryn Serianni and Elizabeth Williams, and sons Stanley and John (Carolyn) Herowski; grandchildren Sara (David) Englander, Bridget and Brian Williams and Jacob Sesto; and great-grandchildren Salvatore and Emily Bianco; sister Karen (Joseph) King and sister-in-law Mary (William) Alberts; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.Marilynn was preceded in death by her husband Stanley in 1997, parents John and Verna Alberts, and brothers John and William Alberts.The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Niagara Hospice for their compassionate care.
