    David F. Cerrone, 65, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on February 24, 2024 at Schoellkopf Health Care Facility.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of Josephine (Demico) Cerrone and the late A. Vincent Cerrone.
    David was a 1977 graduate of Niagara Catholic High School, where he played baseball and basketball.  He was employed with A.D. Transport Express as a truck driver for 20 years.  He also worked for Rus Industries and worked for various other trucking companies.  In addition to his job that he loved, Diesel, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He also was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.  More than anything, he cherished the time that he spent with his daughters and his grandson.
    In addition to his mother, David is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Jerry Scarbrough) Cerrone and Elana Cerrone; his grandson, Censere Jr.; His step-children, Eric (Kara) Patricko and Alicia Patricko; his brothers, Vincent J. Cerrone (Gina Appoloney) and Anthony Cerrone, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his brother, Mark V. (Candy) Cerrone.
    Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of David’s family.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to David’s Path at Schoellkopf Health Center, 621 10th Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14302.  Arrangements by M.J.
