NIAGARA FALLS,.Nov. 8-The
body of Conrad Baum, 46, of 1603
Eighth street, missing since October
10, was taken late Wednesday
from the lower Niagara river near
Stella Niagara convent, tt was
taken to the Grldley funeral chapel
and there identified by friends and
relatives.
Authorities today were not certain
whether death was suicide or
accidental.

A large number of friends and relatives
of the late Conrad Baum, 66
years old, of 1503 Eighth street, attended
funeral services for him Saturday
afternoon. The servtces were
conducted at the Gridley funeral
home by tha Rev. Arthur H. Schmoyer,
pastor of the Zlon Evangelical
Lutheran church. Burial was In Oakwood
cemetery. Among those attending
were many members of the 35-
year club of Aluminum Company of
Amerlca employee.
The palUx-arers were Louis Baum,
John Baum, Augustus Masoe, Adam
Wahl, Henry Laur and John Laur.

Conrad married WAHL, Mary Walburga on 21 Dec 1898 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY. Mary (daughter of WAHL, Adam and RUSS, Waldburga) was born on 29 May 1876 in Ayton, Ontario, Canada; died on 5 Aug 1957 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY; was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY - Section 2. Walter H. Baum, 60,, of 1502
8th St. suffered a heart attack
and died shortly . after
admission to Memorial Hospital
early today (June 10,
1965).
Mr. Baum was born in Niagara
Falls and lived here all
his life. For 32 years he was
a shipping foreman at Oldbury
Division of H o o k er
Chemical Corp., where he was
a member of the 25-Year Club.
He also was a member of
Zion Lutheran Church.
Mr. Baum is survived by his
wife, Edith E. Baum, and a
son, William W. Baum, both
at home; and 3 grandsons, all
of this city.
Funeral services will be Sat
urday at 1:30 p.m. at the Otto
Redanz Funeral Home, Mlchi
gan Aye. at 10th Street. Rev
Paul Swank, pastor of Zlon
Lutheran' Church, will offi-
ciate. '
Friends may call Thursday
and Friday from 3 p.m. to 5
p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at
the funeral home.
Burial will be in Oakwood
Cemetery
