    WHEATFIELD - Alice J. Schulz, 82, who worked as a senior companion with Niagara County Senior Companion for the past 10 years, died Thursday (Aug. 28, 2003) in Erie County Medical Center from injuries she suffered in a car accident July 25 on Shawnee Road south of Slusaric Road.
    The former Alice Laughlin was born in Chicago and moved to Niagara Falls with her family as a child.

    She was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and later received her licensed practical nurse degree from Trott Vocational School.

    Mrs. Schulz enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family.

    Her husband, Walter, died in 1997.

    Survivors include three daughters, Carol Croff of Niagara Falls, Andrea Bainbridge of Amherst and Patricia A. Meisenburg of Wheatfield; four brothers, Dave Laughlin of Wheaton, Ill., Velzie Laughlin of Lockport, Ronald Laughlin of the Town of Tonawanda and Daniel Laughlin of Kentucky; a sister, Beulah DeLelio of Wheatfield; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

    Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Lighthouse Baptist Church, 383 Wheatfield St., North Tonawanda.
