    SCHAUS - Elvina May (nee Domes) Age 79, of Sardinia, died June 1, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Richard R. Schaus, Sr.; mother of Vicki (late William) Jenkins, Marcie (Gerald) Brooks and Richard Schaus, Jr.; also survived by five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday from 3-5 pm at W.S. DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 358 W. Main St., Arcade. Services will be held Monday at 11 am in the Sardinia United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Sardinia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church or Power House in Fillmore, NY. Online register at www.wsdavisfuneralhome.com.

    Elvina May Schaus, of West Schutt Rd., Sardinia, died Wednesday June 1, 2011 in Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home, Springville at the age of 79.

    She was born January 8, 1932 in the Town of Sardinia a daughter of Edward Everett and Laura Elizabeth Wiedemann Domes.

    On July 30, 1948 in Sardinia she married Richard R. Schaus, Sr.. Mr. Schaus passed away March 30, 2006.

    She is survived by two daughters: Vicki Jenkins of Sardinia and Marcie (Gerald) Brooks of Fillmore; a son: Richard Schaus, Jr. of West Seneca; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law: William Jenkins; four brothers: Pete, Dudley, Donald and Edward Domes and two sisters: Mabel Silloway and Ruth Carlsen.

    Memorials may be made to the Sardinia United Methodist Church OR the Power house Youth Center, P.O. Box 241, Fillmore, NY 14735.
