    Inez Beatrice Reeder, 95, St. Joseph, died Sunday, March 27, 2005.

    Born Nov. 16, 1909, in Holt County, Mo., Inez lived most of her life in the St. Joseph area.

    She had been employed by Noma Lites, Big Smith clothing and Stuppy Nursery, all of St. Joseph; and Shady Lawn Nursing Home, Savannah, Mo.

    Inez was a member of the Christian Church, Nodaway, Mo.

    On Nov. 22, 1928, she married Clarence Reeder, who preceded her in death in 1955.

    Also preceding her in death were her son, William; parents, George and Ida (Traub) Hughes; four sisters, Gertrude Embrey, Grace Elliott, Mina Hughs and Sylvia Hilsenbeck; and a brother, Dwight.

    Survivors: two sons, Harold, and wife, Aline, St. Joseph; and Richard, and wife, Evaline, Yelm, Wash.; a daughter-in-law, Dolores, St. Joseph; two sisters, Pearl Trimmer, Savannah; and Valeda Elliott, Pottsboro, TX; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

    Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Breit & Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah. Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, at the funeral home. Memorials: Hands of Hope Hospice. For online condolences visit: www.breit-hawkins.com.
