Mathew was a surveyor with the Wyoming Department of Transportation for 23 years and served in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by a son, Derick A. Mathew of Cheyenne; a daughter, Natalie C. Mathew of Cheyenne; his parents, Gerald and Marilyn Mathew of Indiana; a brother, Scott Mathew of Indiana; four sisters, Taina Fischer, Tanice Mathew and Teresa Onken, all of Indiana and Trina Zapata of Texas; and his former wife, Kathy Jensen.
Mathew was preceded in death by a daughter, Kellie Marie Garcia.
