    TOWN OF WHEATFIELD —
    Sylvia G. (nee Nadeau) Kirisits, age 96 of the Town of Wheatfield, Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Elderwood Village at Glenwood in Williamsville. She was the wife of Rudolph J. Kirisits, who died in 1980 and mother of the late Kenneth Kirisits. Sylvia had been employed as Deputy Town Clerk for the Town of Wheatfield for many years before retiring.
    She is survived by three children, Gloria (Donald) Pokelwaldt of Kitty Hawk, NC, Norman (Kathryn) Kirisits of Tonawanda and Michael (Cheryl) Kirisits of San Antonio, FL; her daughter-in-law, Faith (the late Kenneth) Kirisits of Elma, NY; her brother-in-law, Valentine Kirisits of Williamsville; and her very dear friend, Jenny Castex of Wheatfield. Also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call today (Tuesday) from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Chapel, 71 Adam St. in Tonawanda. Friends invited. The Rev. Michael Uebler will officiate. Entombment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

    Kenneth J. Kirisits, 66, of East Arcade Rd., Arcade, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at his residence. He was born July 28, 1942 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY, the son of Sylvia (Nadeau) Kirisits and the late Rudolph Kirisits.He married Faith Buckley on July 3, 1977 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. He was a member of the Arcade United Methodist Church. He was a retired carpenter, having worked 30 years at Occidental Chemical/Durez, North Tonawanda Division. He was a member of the Arcade Fire Department, having served as Chief for three years. He was also a lifetime member of Rescue Volunteer Fire Co. in North Tonawanda. He was a foster parent to many children and enjoyed hunting, fishing, being retired and spending time with Faith.He is survived by his wife, Faith Kirisits; mother, Sylvia Kirisits of Williamsville; children, Kathleen (Frederick) Zacher of North Tonawanda, Michelle Guedesse of North Tonawanda, Kenneth Kirisits of New Jersey, Peter (Buffy) Kirisits of North Tonawanda; step-daughters, Michelle (William) Jonathan of Town of Tonawanda, Renee Ballard of Snyder; sister, Gloria (Donald) Polkelwaldt of North Carolina; brothers, Norman (Kathryn) Kirisits of City of Tonawanda, Michael (Cheryl) Kirisits of Holland, NY; grandchildren, Sara, Ryan, Luke, Austin, Alexis, Brooke and Ryan; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Emily. Visitation will be Thursday, October 23rd from 7-9 PM and Friday, October 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at W.S. Davis Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Main St., Arcade. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 1 PM at Arcade United Methodist Church, Arcade, with Rev. Bud Vredenburg officiating.     Kathleen (Kirisits) Zacher, 58, of North Tonawanda, Wednesday (December 6, 2023) surrounded by family under the care of Hospice House. Kathleen was born in North Tonawanda on January 31, 1965 to Kenneth J. and Gracine (Capizzi) Kirisits. Kathleen was a Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts Troop Leader, she enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening, camping, spending time with her family and her fur babies. Kathleen was predeceased by her husband Frederick "Fred" E. Zacher and daughter Emily Zacher. 
    Kathleen is survived by her children Sara (Edward Armold) Zacher, and Luke Zacher, grandmother of Evelyn Zacher, sister of Pete (Buffy) Kirisits, sister in law of Connie (Bob) Lutz, and Yvonne Zacher, also surviving are many nieces and nephews Friends may call Monday from 4-8 P.M. at the Wattengel Funeral Home, 533 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Elmlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, https://www.roswellpark.org/.
