    Albert Milleville, the three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Milleville of Bergholtz, died at the family home Saturday night. The funeral will be held from the late home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock and a half hour later from the Bergholtz Lutheran Church, the Rev. Mr. Grabau officiating. Burial will be in the Bergholtz cemetery.

    Louise M. Wendt (Milleville), age 91, was called to her heavenly home on May 25, 2002 at the Fairhaven Retirement Facility, in Whitewater, WI, formerly of Wheatfield, NY. Born on December 7, 1910 to Albert and Rosina (Ferchen) Milleville in Niagara Falls, NY. She was united in marriage to Arnold R. Wendt on November 29, 1934. She was employed as a clerk for the Sanborn Phone Company. She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater, WI and St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was predeceased by her husband on August 1, 1993; four sisters and three brothers. Survivors include one son, the Rev. Jerald (Nancy) Wendt of Whitewater, WI; two daughters, Anne Louise (Robert) Schreiner of Los Angeles, CA and Jeannine (Frederick) Ary of Louisville, KY; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; a brother, Albert (Elizabeth) Milleville of Niagara Falls; three sisters; Sophia Schultz of North Tonawanda, Mabel (Paul) Klemm of Wessington, SD and Judith (Howard) Strobie (sic) of Marion, OH; and several nieces and nephews. A service was held at First English Lutheran Church, Whitewater, WI on June 1st at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road (Bergholz), in Wheatfield on Friday, June 7th from 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. David B. Menz on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, corner of Niagara Road and Rohr Street in Bergholz. Friends may also pay their respects at the church on Saturday during the two hours prior to the service. Interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.

Sophie was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church (Old Falls Blvd.) As a child she attended St. James Lutheran School and was confirmed and married at St. James Lutheran Church. Sophie was a member of the Bergholtz Historical Society. She was the wife of the late Gerhard Schultz, who died in 1979.     Gerhard W. Milleville, who loved to sing in various choirs, died in his home Monday (July 15, 1996) after a long illness.
    The 81-year-old was a lifelong resident of this town, as well as a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz.
    Milleville, of Maple Drive, worked in the business office at the Carborundum Co. in Niagara Falls for over 40 years and retired in the mid-1980s.
    He enjoyed music, playing the piano and singing in various choirs in the area, including the Western New York Lutheran Men's Choir and the St. James Choir.
    Survivors include a daughter, Donna J. of Montpelier, VT.; a brother, Albert of Sanborn; five sisters, Anna Moll and Louise Wendt, both of Bergholz, Sophia Schultz of North Tonawanda, Mabel Klemm of Wessington Springs, S.D., and Judith Stroble of Marion, OH.
    Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday in St. James Lutheran Church, Niagara Road and Rohr Street, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery

    Albert E. Milleville of Wheatfield died Sunday (March 7, 2004) in Mount View Health Care Facility, Lockport. He was 85.
    Born in Wheatfield, he graduated from LaSalle High School in 1936 and married the Elizabeth Ziemendorf on July 19, 1947.
    He served as a Wheatfield assessor during the 1950s and was employed at Moore Business Forms for 27 years. He also worked for Summit Park Mall for 20 years, retiring in 1991.
    Mr. Milleville was a lifelong member of St. James Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where he served as president of many committees. He had a great interest in Christian education and evangelism. He also enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
    Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Nancy of Sanborn; two sons, Dan of Arnold, Md., and Jon of Wheaton, ILl.; and five grandchildren.
    Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. James Lutheran Church, Niagara Road and Rohr Street, Bergholz. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery.

    Woman hit by/car, killed
    WHEATFIELD - A 61-year-old woman was killed Monday when she was struck by an car in front of her home.
    Pronounced dead at DeGraff Memorial Hospital was Rose Milleville of 6731 Ward Road. She suffered massive head, and leg injuries in the accident. According to sheriff's deputies, the woman was hit by a car driven by Kenneth Beutel, 46, of 2427 Lockport Road, as he traveled north on the unlighted road.
    Deputies reported the car had only one working headlight. An investigation into the incident was continuing.
    Miss Milleville was a lifelong resident of Wheatfield and was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and the Women of the Church. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Rosina Milleville.
    She is survived by two brothers, Gerhard W. and Albert E. Milleville, both of Wheatfield; five sisters, Anna Moll, Mrs. Arnold (Louise) Wendt, Sophia Schultz, all of Wheatfield, Mrs. Paul (Mabel) Klemm of Woonsacket, S.D., and Mrs. Howard (Judith) Stroble of Cardington, OH; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Fretthold Funeral Home, 1241 Oliver St., at Ward Road, North Tonawanda.     Marion, OH - Judith Grace Milleville Stroble, age 94 of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Marion General Hospital. She was born in Niagara County, New York, on August 7, 1926, the youngest child of Albert and Rosina (Ferchen) Milleville. In 1944, she graduated from LaSalle High School and became a bookkeeper and secretary in the law offices of Phelps, Gray, Mansour & Hewitt, Niagara Falls, New York. On June 15, 1952, she was married to Howard M. Stroble, whom she had met in 1949 on Mount Rainier while both were on a post-convention tour of the National Luther League convention. They moved to Muscatine, Iowa, where Howard served his intern year at Zion Lutheran Church and Judy continued with secretarial work. On their return to Columbus, she was the secretary to the Construction Engineer of the Ohio Turnpike Commission. Following Pastor Stroble's graduation from Lutheran Seminary in 1954 in Columbus, Ohio, and ordination in Zion Lutheran Church, Hartford City, Indiana, they served churches in WaKeeney, Kansas; Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; Saginaw, Michigan; Alma and Republican City, Nebraska; Union City, Indiana; and St. John Lutheran Church (Windfall) in Cardington, Ohio. In Marion, Judy worked in the law offices of Eugene A. Yazel and Brent A. Rowland, and Pastor Stroble was the ARMS Chaplain until his passing on November 2, 2004. Thankful to be a member of the Holy Christian Church, Judy was very active in her work as a Sunday School teacher, choir member, and ACLW officer. She planned many programs for Christmas, Mother's Day, and special anniversaries. She also spent many hours on Lutheran World Relief projects, especially the quilts and layettes. At her daughter's urging, she wrote "Wasn't it amazing, Judy Grace," which included the story of her German and French-Huguenot (Protestant) background, highlights of their years in the various churches, and favorite recipes she collected along the way. Her cinnamon rolls were the best! Judy is survived by her son, Kevin Luther Stroble, of Marion and her daughter, Ruth Jeannine Roberts, of Moriarty, NM. She is also survived by a grandson, William Howard (Jacque) Roberts; a great-granddaughter, Lahna Jewel Roberts; and a granddaughter, Linden Rose (Bart) Roberts. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and their extended families, as well as special friends like Linda Ruehrmund. She was predeceased by 4 sisters, 3 brothers, 3 half-sisters, and 1 half-brother, as well as 7 nieces and 1 nephew. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 1 pm at Marion Cemetery with Deacon Kevin Kehn of Emanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow.     Popular Young Bergholtz Resident Laid to Final Rest
    BERGHOLTZ, Jan. 2. - Funeral services for Elmer Milleville, which were held from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Milleville, Niagara Falls boulevard. Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 from St. James'. Lutheran church, were largely attended. The church was filled to its capacity. Mr Milleville was 36 years old and died after several months illness. He was born in the same house where he died and attended the St. James' parochial school. The bearers were William Milleville Jr., Charles Mllleville, Ben DeVantier, Erich Ferchen. Theodore Schmidt and A. Haseley, all cousins of the deceased. Interment was in St. James cemetery.

    BERGHOLTZ, Dec. 28 - Elmer Millleville. 36 years old, son of Supervisor and Mrs. Albert Milleville, of the Niagara Falls boulevard, died today at the home of his parents, after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held from the home of the parents on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 from St. James Lutheran church, this village. The Rev. Otto Bruss will officiate. Interment will be in St. James' cemetery. Mr. Milleville is survived by his parents, two brothers. Gerhard and Albert, Jr., both at home, and seven sisters. Mrs. Christ Burow and Mrs. Anna Moll, both of Wheatfield. Mrs. Louis Wendt, Buffalo, Mrs. Sophia Schultz. St. Johnsburg, and Rose, Mable and Judith, all at home. Previous to his illness, Mr. Milleville had always taken a keen interest in Bergholtz village affairs. He was born in the same house in which he died. Supervisor Milleville stated today that he would be unable to attend the board meeting in Lockport Monday because of his sons funeral.

    NIAGARA FALLS - Nancy J. Milleville, age 61, of Wheatfield, was called to her heavenly home on May 10, 2010 in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, on September 15, 1948 to Albert and Elizabeth (Ziemendorf) Milleville. She graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School and Rosary Hill College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. Nancy was employed as a Customer Service Representative, with the Internal Revenue Service, in Cheektowaga. A lifelong member of St. James Ev. Lutheran Church in Bergholz, where she served as a past treasurer. Nancy was active with the Lutheran synod and held various positions. She was a loving caregiver to her parents and was predeceased by her father. They were married October 8, 1971; sister-in-law, Loretta Daigler; several nephews, and many friends.Visitation will take place on Saturday (November 14) from 4-8 p.m. at the DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, (Bergholz) in Wheatfield.
