    Chester G. Ziehm, 71, a resident of Grand Island, died Tuesday (Jan. 24, 1995) in Sisters Hospital.
    Ziehm was born in the Town of Wheatfield and served in the Army in Europe during World War II.
    He graduated from the University of Buffalo School of Business Management and worked for several years at Carborundum Co. and Standard Oil Co. in Cleveland.
    He was a member of First Trinity Lutheran Church. He also was a charter member of Wheatfield Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a member of the Grand Island Rod & Gun Club.
    Surviving are his wife, Rosemarie Brym-Conrad Ziehm; three sons, David of Bergholz, William of Chicago and John of Niagara Falls; a daughter, Marion Wendt of Grand Island; a brother, Morris of Schenectady; two sisters, Pearl Ward and Yvonne Bricca, both of Wheatfield; and six grandchildren.
    Services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in First Trinity Church, 1570 Niagara Falls Blvd., Town of Tonawanda. Burial will be in Forest Lawn, Buffalo.

    GRAND ISLAND —
    David R. Ziehm, passed away on April 25, 2013. He was a resident of Grand Island.
    Survivors include his brothers, William (Lucille), John (Paula); and sister, Marion Wendt (Douglas). He also has many nieces and nephews who, along with friends, will greatly miss him.
    A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 25th at 1:00 PM at Bible Fellowship Center, 1136 Baseline Rd., Grand Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Davids memory may be made to the Bible Fellowship Center.

Devoted husband of Paula Fleming-Ziehm (nee Stanton); beloved father of Andrew (Amie) Ziehm and Nathan (Jaylene) Ziehm; loving grandfather of Owen Ziehm, late Noah Ziehm, and one grandson on the way; caring brother of the late David Ziehm, Marion (Douglas) Wendt, and William (Lucille) Ziehm; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends and family will be received Saturday, December 18th, 10-11 AM at LAKESIDE MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1340 Union Rd., West Seneca, NY 14224, 716-674-5776.
