Haseley, 83 years old, who until his retirement several years ago was one of the best known farmers of this vicinity, died last evening at the family home in this village, after a short illness. Funeral services will be held from the home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, standard time, and at 2: 30 from St. Peter's church at Walmore. The Rev. Edward Grabau will officiate and interment will be in Walmore cemetery. Mr. Haseley was born in Walmore on August 21, 1853, and had resided In this vicinity all his life. In former years he took an active interest in political and agricultural affairs and conducted one of the finest farms in this district. He is survived by his wife, Mary Farnwald (sic); one son, Philip Haseley; one daughter, Mrs. Anton Pfuhl, both of Sanborn; two brothers, August and the Rev. SANBORN, April 5.-Carl W. Haseley, 74, one of the oldest and best known residents of this vicinity, died yesterday at the family home in the Saunders Settlement road following an illness of about two weeks. Funeral services will be held from the home on Monday afternoon, April 7, at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 from St. Peter's Evangelical church at Walmore. The Rev. Edward Grabau will officiate and interment will be in Walmore cemetery. Mr. Haseley was born in the town of Wheatfield a son of the late Frederick Haseley and Wilhelmina (sic) Wendt, who came from Germany and settled in Wheatfield. He was formerly an active farmer but retired several years ago. Mr. Haseley is survived by one son, George. C., of the Saunders Settlement road, two brothers, the Rev. Albert Haseley and August Haseley, both of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, and three sisters, Mrs. Louis Kappler and Mrs. Ernest Beutel, both of Lake Elmo, and Mr. Frederick Schrader, of North Tonawanda, and three grandchildren.

Rev. A. Haseley, Lake Elmo, Dies
The Rev. Albert Haseley, who served St. Paul's Lutheran church at Lake Elmo during his entire 61 years as a pastor, died Wednesday in a Stillwater hospital. He was 91.
He was graduated from Martin Luther seminary, Buffalo, N. Y, in Rev. Haseley 1891 and went to St. Paul's church. He remained in that pastorate until retiring in November, 1952.
Mrs. Haseley died in 1949. Surviving the clergyman are 4 sons. Gregor of St. Paul Park, the Rev. Leonard of Pittsburg, and Alfred and Gotthold, both of Lake Elmo; 1 daughter, Adelia of Lake Elmo; a sister, 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday in Lake Elmo at Christ Lutheran church, which has merged with St. Paul's church.

The neighbors failing to see him about broke into his home and found his body on the bed. He was fully dressed and it is supposed that he died from asphyxiation. North Tonawanda, May 16.- Frederick Haseley, 81 years old, a veteran of the Civil war, died at his home at No. 275 Stenzel street yesterday after a brief Illness. He was born in Germany and had been most of his life in North Tonawanda. Besides his widow, three sons, Albert, Otto and Edward Haseley, and three daughters. Mrs. Fred Glawf, Mrs. Harry Wilson and Mrs. Fred Plumsteel, survive.

Saunders Settlement Road Man Laid to rest in Walmore Cemetery.
SANBORN, Jan. 19.-Funeral services of William C. Haseley, who died Thursday, were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family home in the Sanders (sic) Settlement food and at 2: 30 from St. Peter's church at Walmore. The Rev. Edwin Graubau (sic) officiated and interment was in Walmore cemetery. The bearers were Edwin Kroening, Edwin Haseley, Siegmand (sic) Mackensen, Jr., Herbert Haseley, Norman and Clarence Wienke. The flower bearers were Christine Haseley, Elizabeth Haseley, Helen Mackensen and Elizabeth Mackensen. Mr. Haseley was one of the best known farmers of the vicinity and his loss is mourned by a circle of friends and relatives.

SANBORN. N. Y.- Mrs. Henriette M. Haseley Fahrnwald. 91 years old, widow of August Fahrnwald, died last evening at the family home, Lockport road, after a short Illness. Mrs. Fahrnwald was born in the town of Lewiston and had been a resident of Niagara county all her life. Her husband, a successful farmer, died many years ago. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore and in former years was active in its organizations. Walmore, N. Y.-Mrs. Albertina W. Walck, 84, of this village, died this morning at the home of her son William A. Walck, in the Lockport road, after a long illness.
Mrs. Walck was born in Walmore and had resided here all her life. She was a daughter of the late August Haseley and the late Henrietta Goerss, early settlers. She was the widow of William E. Walck. Mrs. Walk was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, of this village. In former years she was an active member of the women's organization of the church.
Mrs. Walck is survived by four sons and two daughters, The Rev. Alfred W. Walck, of St. Paul MN., Rudolph C., William A., and Hubert E. Walck all of Sanborn, N. Y.; Mrs. John W. DeVantier of Niagara Falls, N. Y., and Mrs. Eric F. Haseley, of Sanborn, N. Y.; 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was a health commissioner during the late Eugene De Kleist's regime as mayor. He was a member of the Men's Club of the St. Matthew's Church, in the congregational membership of which he also was enrolled. Surviving are a son, Harvey A. LOCKPORT - Ill only a short, William G. Haseley, 97 Webb St, former gardener, died last evening at his home. He would have been 90 years old on February 25. Services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. at the home and at 2:30 at Trinity Lutheran church. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cold Springs cemetery-Mr. Haseley was a native of Walmore, N. Y., but had resided here the last 60 years. He was employed as a gardener at the Lewis greenhouse. Later he was a clerk for the William Brothers company. Surviving are a daughter, Helen A. The will of Carl E. Haseley, late of Walmore, was filed with Surrogate Norman D. Fish at Lockport yesterday for probate. The estate is valued at upwards of $7,000 in personal property and $8,000 in real estate. The will is to be probated on February 2. Attorney E. B. Harrington is counsel for the family. The widow and six children are the heirs. Haseley died on January 9.

Niagara Falls, Mar. 25-An old fashioned Christian was Amos A. Haseley, 59, 623 90th Street. Today was Holy Thursday and there was to be a morning service at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church at Walden (sic) at 9.30 o'clock.
At 8 Haseley peered from a window at his home into the turbulence of gale-gripped snow. It did not daunt him. Though it did convince him that he should start forth at once. He knew well the entire five-mile course, for he had covered it Sunday after Sunday, but in that mad world of flakes and wind, traveling would be difficult. With firm stride he set out. In Tuscarora Road near Lockport Road at 9 o'clock, Howard Bodie, Sanborn, stopped his truck sharply, at the side of road, partly covered with snow, was the body of a man. Coroner R. Emes was called. Death from over-exertion, he decided, In the pocket of the man's overcoat he found a Bible. The leather cover, betraying fond use by many gray-lined cracks, bore in guilt (sic) letters the name: Amos A. Haseley. And as Dr. Emes read, scarcely a mile away were tolling the bells that called all worshippers before Pastor Edward Grabau. On Sunday there will he a service at 2 o'clock at the Haseley home and at 2.30 at St. Peter's Church. Then St. Peter's Cemetery will receive the body. A bachelor, the man left a sister, Mrs. Henry Haseley, who had married a third cousin, and three brothers, William, Rudolph and Theodore, all of Lockport.

Heart Attack, Brought on By Exertion of Fighting Storm, Kills Amos Haseley; Gale Sweeps Wide Area.
Vagaries of March weather produced one for the book in Niagara Falls last night-snow, hall, lightning and thunder, borne on the wings of a 50 mile "northeaster" that sent the mercury down near a new low for the month. One death here was indirectly attributed to the storm, which brought wide inconvenience to residents.
Man Dies In Storm
On his way to attend Holy Thursday services in a Walmore church this morning, Amos A. Haseley, 58 year old retired Carborundum company employe (sic), of 623 Ninetieth street, died from a heart attack brought on by over-exertion in fighting his way through wind and snow. His body, partly covered by snow, was found in the Tuscarora road near the Lockport road by Howard Bodie, a truck driver for the Calkins Lumber company of Sanborn.
Coroner Harry R. Emes, called to the scene by Bodie, pronounced death due to a heart attack brought on by over-exertion. Mr. Haseley had left his home about 8 o'clock and his body was found an hour later.
Surviving him are his sister, Mrs. Henry Haseley, with whom he resided, and three brothers, William, Rudolph and Teeter (sic) Haseley, all of Lockport.

Friedrich William August Haseley, son of Christian Haseley, and his wife Friderike nee Jagow was born June 7, 1880 at Bethlehem, Effingham County, Il. He was baptized there on June 13, 1880 by Pastor G. Goesswein and also confirmed there March 18, 1894 by Pastor C. H. Lueker. He was married on May 1, 1901 by F.W. Brockman. His life was spent in the Altamont community. He had been failing in health for some time. He entered the Effingham Hospital on Sunday, Oct 16. His end came on Saturday morning, Oct 22, at 3 o'clock. He reached the age of 75 years, four months, and fifteen days. Funeral services were conducted in Immanuel Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon Oct 24, 1955 by Rev. Hans Bruss. Burial was made in Union Cemetery. Text was 2 Tim 4, 7-8. Preceding him in death was his daughter Elnora.in Aug. 1944. Cleveland Avenue Woman Passes In Hospital after Long Illness.
Mrs Lillian Haseley, widow of Albert Haseley, died in Mt. St Mary's Hospital at 5:45 clock yesterday afternoon after an illness of several months. She was 58 years old. Mrs. Haseley. who had resided here many years and had a wide circle of friends, is survived by a son, Herbert A. Haseley, of this city; two grandchildren, Gladys and Harold Kroenlng, of Sanborn, and two sisters, Elizabeth Klemer. of North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Carl Musall. of Birnamwood. Wis. The funeral will be held from the family home at 2 p. m. Thursday, with services at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church, Cleveland avenue and Eighteenth street, at 2:30 p. m.. the Rev. Philip Haseley, Farmer, Dies
SANBORN-Philip S. Haseley, 76, well known farmer, of the Town of Lewiston, died at his home in Walmore Rd., Monday (March 5, 1956). He had been in ill health for some time.
He was born in Walmore Oct. 10, 1879, son of the late Frederick and Maria Fahrnwald Haseley. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Walmore.
He is survived by his wife, Anna DeVantier Haseley; two sons, Mervin and Philip Haseley Jr.; a grandson, Paul Haseley, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at his home Thursday at 2 p.m. and at 2:30 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church. with the Rev. Martin Pempeit officiating. Interment wil1 be in St. Peter's Cemetery

A life-long resident of the Town of Lewiston, he had operated a farm on Saunders Settlement Road prior to retiring 15 years ago. He was a lifetime member of Peter's Lutheran Church and at one time served in the church council. Survivors include a son, Milton Haseley of Lewiston; a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Sylvia) Jagow of Sanborn; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Gustav W. Haseley. 81. one of the founders of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church here and a descendant of a pioneer Town of Wheatfield family, died last night at his home. 1657 Cleveland avenue. His wife. Mrs. Hulda Mueller Haseley died last March 13. The church was founded at a meeting held at the Haseley home in October. 1898, when the family resided in Ashland avenue. The services were also held there until the small parish, of which the Haseley's were the only married couple, built Its first church. While Mr. Haseley was born at Walmore, June 14. 1865. his father, the late William Haseley was one of the original settlers of the Town or Wheatfield. His mother was ihe late Mrs. Marie Williams Haseley. However. Mr. Haseley resided in the LaSalle section of this city most of his life, operating a small farm for some time. He retired two years ago after being employed as a maintenance workman at the Mathieson Alkali Works. Inc.. for 45 years. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs Fred Loge. Mrs. Raymond G. Allen. Mrs. Arthur Rlckert, Mrs. Elmer Luick and Mrs. Carl Luick; two sons. Benjamin G., and Myron H. Haseley: a brother, John Haseley, all of this city; six sisters. Hartman, 90, died this morning (Sept. 14, 1957) at her home at 616 Walnut Ave. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Gridley Funeral home and at 10:30 a.m. at St Paul's Lutheran Church, with the. Rev. Evan J. Bartell officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Bergholtz. Mrs. Hartman was born in Walmore and was a resident of Niagara Falls for 56 years. She had been a member of St. Paul's church since 1901 and was one of the chuches oldest members. She had been active in the Ladies Aid and other church activities in her
younger years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gothold Walck, and mrs. Frances King, and one son Henry Sacht, all of this city. Albert P. Haseley Dies at 70 Years
SANBORN, Feb. 6-Albert P. Haseley, 70 years old, husband of Mrs. Anna Ferchen Haseley, died yesterday at the family home in the Saunders Settlement road.
Mr. Haseley was a farmer all his life and was actively engaged in operating his farm until ill health prevented about a year ago. Previous to this he had taken an active interest in Sanborn village affairs. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore and was formerly active in its organizations.
Besides his wife, Mr. Haseley is survived by seven sons, Norman, Marcus, Wallace, William, Richard, Benjamin and Albert, all of Sanborn: two daughters, Lydia Haseley and Mrs. Irwin Beutel, of Sanborn; three grandchildren, four brothers and seven sisters, all of this vicinity.
Funeral services will be held from the family home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 at St. Peter's Lutheran church at Walmore. The Rev. Edward A. Grabau will officiate and interment will be in the Walmore cemetery.

LOCKPORT. Feb. 5 - Mrs. Martha Quandt, 77, widow of Frank W. Quandt, died suddenly last night at her home, 416 Transit street. She was a native of Walmore and had lived In this city for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church. Mrs. Mueller was born in Walmore and was a resident of North Tonawanda for the past 54 years. Lifelong Falls Resident Dies After Long Illness
John P. Haseley, 71, of 6803 Point avenue, a lifelong resident of this area, died today at Memorial hospital after an illness of five months. Born at Lewiston, Mr. Haseley had lived in this city for the last 59 years. Until stricken -ill in December he had been a stationary engineer at the Oldbury Electro Chemical, company for 26 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Haseley, and five sisters, Mrs. Albertine Fuerchen and Mrs. Hilda Hartman, both of this city, and Mrs. Mathilda Haseley, Mrs. Augusta Mueller and Mrs. Anna Wurl, all of North Tonawanda. Prolonged Illness with Pneumonia Proves Fatal to Mrs. Lucy Loge.
Mrs. Lucy Loge, 62 years old, widow of John B. Loge, late of Middleport, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter (sic), Mrs. William Gandt, 2245 North avenue, fallowing a seven weeks illness with pneumonia and a complication of other diseases.
The deceased, who has lived in this city for the past two years, came here from Walmore, where she was born. Besides her daughter she is survived by one son, Fred R. Loge, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Gandt, of this city, and Mrs. William Brocker (sic), North Tonawanda. Four brothers, Henry, Philippineslip and Emil Haseley, of this city, and Herbert Haseley, Sanborn, also survive. Mrs. Charles Gandt, Resident Here 23 Years, Dies at Family Home. Mrs. Emma Haseley Gandt died yesterday at the family home at 473 Twenty-sixth street. Funeral services will be held from the home on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and interment will be in Oakwood cemetery. Mrs. Gandt was born in Sanborn on July 28, 1869, and had lived here for the past 23 years. She had been ill a year.

Henry J. Haseley a native of Lewiston. and a retired Carborundum Co, employee, died yesterday (May 5, 1955) at his home, 623 Pasadena Ave., at the age of 83. He had been ill for' approximately one year. Mr. Haseley had lived in this city for 30 years. He was retired from Carborundum in 1942 after 25 years as a fireman. MAN HIT BY TRUCK DIED IN HOSPITAL
Otto Haseley of Saunders Settlement Road, Victim of Accident Near Home
Otto Haseley. 46 years old, of the Saunders' Settlement road, died yesterday afternoon In Memorial hospital from injuries received on Thursday night when he was run over by a motor truck near his home. Mr. Haseley suffered internal injuries. Coroner W. L. Draper, who investigated the accident learned that Mr. Haseley was standing: talking to another man who was in an automobile on the road in front of his home. He walked out around the machine in the path of a motor truck. The driver. J. M. Taylor of Lockport, saw him and tried to avoid striking him but was unsuccessful and the heavy truck passed over Mr. Haseley's body. He was taken to his home and was removed to the hospital here at 9 o'clock yesterday morning.

Injured in a fall at the Gluck building reconstruction job late yesterday afternoon, Emll Haseley, 58 years old, of 367 Fredericka street, North Tonawanda, is in Mt. St. Mary's hospital today, under treatment for back and arm injuries. Hospital attendants reported his condition as good today. Mr. Haseley is a former resident of Sanborn and is an employee of the Walter Johnson Building company.

Frank A. Haseley, fifty-one years old, died last night at his home, 275 Stenzel street. Mr. Haseley was well known in the Gratwick section of North Tonawanda, where he had lived for many years. He was a member of the Tonawandas Aerie, No. 1411, F. O. E.; the North Tonawanda Firemen's Benevolent association, the Gratwick Hose company, the Firemen's association of the North Tonawanda fire department and the Wheatfield Benevolent association. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Haseley; three brothers, Albert, Otto and Edward Haseley, and three sisters, Mrs Fred Glawf, Mrs. Plumsteel, and Mrs. Harry Wilson, all of North Tonawanda. The Gratwick Hose Company has called a special meeting this evening at the company quarters on Felton street to make arrangements for the funeral.

Mrs. Walck, 67, Dies in Hospital
SANBORN-Mrs. Ernistine (sic) D. Walck, 67, of 5939 Walmore Road, this community, died Tuesday (Jan. 3, 1967) at Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Walck had been attending a meeting of the Ladies Aid Society of St. Peter Lutheran Church at Walmore Tuesday night when she was stricken.
Mrs. Walck was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and an officer of the Ladies Aid Society.
She was born in this community, Sept. 11, 1899, the daughter of Ferdinand and Ernistine (sic) Haseley and lived in this area all of her life.
Besides her husband, Rudolf C. Walck, she is survived by two sons, Rudolf Walck Jr. and Leonard W. Walck; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Edna) Craft, all of Sanborn; a sister, Mrs. Ida Pfohl and a brother, Erich F. Haseley, both of this community; and four grandchildren.

City Worker Dies Of Heart Attack
A certificate of death duo to natural causes was issued today by Coroner James W. Heary after an investigation in the case of Albert Metcher, 65, of 613 Twenty-third street, who died in an ambulance yesterday afternoon en route to Memorial hospital. Mr. Metcher, a truck driver for the city, was stricken Wednesday afternoon while driving a city garbage truck in Fifteenth street and was found slumped over the wheel of the truck. He was revived by a Fire department inhalator crew and taken home. At the time it was believed he might have been overcome by carbon monoxide fumes from the truck engine. Stricken again at his home yesterday, Mr. Metcher was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead on arrival. Coroner Heary said that his investigation indicated that Mr. Metcher was a victim of a heart attack. A native of this city, Mr. Metcher was a city employee for the last 49 years. He was a member of Local 138, State and County Municipal Employees association. Surviving are a sister. Mrs. Josephine Roll, this city, and two brothers, William Metcher. this city, and Frank Metcher. Sherrill. The Rev. O. Charles Rowe will conduct funeral services at the Bell Funeral chapel on Monday at 3:30 pm. Interment will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
