    North Tonawanda, April 23-August D. Haseley, 68, died today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward P. Krull, 352 Bennett street, Born in Walmore, Mr. Haseley had lived in North Tonawanda 40 years. He was a health commissioner during the late Eugene De Kleist's regime as mayor. He was a member of the Men's Club of the St. Matthew's Church, in the congregational membership of which he also was enrolled. Surviving are a son, Harvey A. Haseley; a daughter, Mrs. Krull; three grandchildren and five brothers, John and Ledrecht, (sic) Wolcottsville, William, Niagara Falls, and Ferdinand and David, Walmore. The funeral will held Sunday afternoon

New Jersey, 2 grandchildren Sherri Lynn and Tracy Ann Johnson, a sister Mrs Irene Krull, North Tonawanda. several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver St. at Ward Rd. from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m and until 11 a.m. Monday. The body will lie in state Monday in St. Matthew Lutheran Church from noon until 1:30 pm, the time of service. The Rev. A.W. Moldenhauer will officiate. Interment in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery.

Ruth was born in North Tonawanda, the daughter of Harvey and Martha (Brauer) Haseley. She attended North Tonawanda schools and graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1944. She was the widow of the late Allen Proefrock of North Tonawanda. She is survived by her sister, Jean Johnson of Cleveland, OH; and three nieces, Tracey Johnson of Exton, PA, Sherri (Patrick) Sayles of Milford, NJ, and Merry (Frank) Sheets of Stanley, NY.Friends may call at the Fretthold Funeral Home Inc., 1241 Oliver Street at Ward Road in North Tonawanda, on Wednesday, May 6th from 4-7 PM. Roger was predeceased by his wife Linda Lee Krull (Heaps) and son Jason Krull.
    Roger is survived by his daughter Janet Krull-Gatley, daughter in law Debbie Krull, sister Phyllis Phillips, grandfather of Samantha and Corey Gatley, and Katie Moll, also surviving are nieces and nephews.
    Private services were held at the convenience of the family.

    BATAVIA — Neil E. Krull, age 79, of the Town of Hamburg, died Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at the Batavia VA Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. Born in North Tonawanda, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Irene (Haseley) Krull. Mr. Krull was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He had been a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda for many years, and was known for his ministry of delivering tapes of Sunday sermon messages to church shut-ins. He also had been a past President of the Residence Council at Brompton Heights.

    He is survived by two children, Sandra (Mark) Flanigan of the Town of Pendleton and Daniel (Susan) Krull of Niagara Falls, NY; five grandchildren, Mark Jr., Stacy and Stephanie Flanigan, and Alexis and Abigail Krull; his former wife, Barbara (Robert) Thomson; two sisters, Phyllis Phillips of North Tonawanda and Ellen "Bunny" Eberwein of the City of Tonawanda; and a brother, Roger (Linda) Krull of North Tonawanda.

    Family will be present on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St. (between Morgan & Broad Sts.), City of Tonawanda. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 6, at 10 AM, at The Chapel at CrossPoint, 500 CrossPoint Pkwy., in Getzville. Friends invited. Rev. Richard George will officiate. Burial will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery in North Tonawanda.

Ellen was born in North Tonawanda, the daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Haseley) Krull. She attended St. Mark Lutheran School and graduated from North Tonawanda High School in 1951. Bunny was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tonawanda, and retired as a Nurse's Aide from DeGraff Memorial Hospital in 1997. She was well known by her family and her many friends as a kind, concerned and funny mom, grandma, sister, aunt, and all-around good friend. She will be very missed by all. She is survived by her children, Barbara (David) Overholt and Chris Michael Eberwein; her grandchildren, Amy (Christopher) Koscielniak, Michael David Overholt, and great-grandson, Jack Christopher Koscielniak; sister of Phyllis (Krull) Phillips, Roger (Linda) Krull and the late Neil Krull; also survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara (Krull) Thomson, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was the beloved sister of Lisa A. Phillips (Maria Alesse) and Linda (nee Phillips) Hill and the Aunt of Heather L. Hill. She is survived by many loving cousins. Laura was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in NT. Laura was the owner of Whitney-Warner Marketing and was active in the paint and caulk industries. Her friends will remember her fondly for having a love of nature and of all living things. She was passionate about rescuing strays. Laura was a genuine champion for the underdog. Her true love was and eternally will be Silver Lake Camp. Her spirit was one of kindness and compassion. There will be no visitation.
