    MIDDLEPORT, Sept. 8-Mrs. Ida Wollenberg, 66, wife of Fred Wollenberg, died Sunday evening at the family home at Wolcottsville. She leaves, besides her husband, two daughters, Mrs. John Meitz, of Wollcottsville, and Mrs. Benjamin Witt, of North Tonawanda, one brother, Lewis Glena, of Wolcottsville, and three grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home and at 2:30 o'clock at St. Michael's Lutheran church, Wolcottsville. Rev. Fred Schleef will officiate. Burial will be in Wolcottsville cemetery.

    William (Bill) John McCorquodale
     went home to his Lord and Savior on March 12, 2018. Born in Winthrop, Mass on September 9, 1939 to the late Mar C. and Mildred (Mietz) McCorquodale. He was predeceased by brothers, Mar Thomas and John C. McCorquodale.  He leaves behind his loving wife and partner of 57 years, Brenda and his cherished daughter Joyce.  A nephew, niece, and several cousins also survive Bill.
    Bill grew up in N. Tonawanda, moving to Wolcottsville to finish his high school education at Akron Central in 1957. He studied tool design at ECC while working as a machinist, retiring in 2001. In his younger years, he was a pitcher for the Niagara Ontario Fastpitch Softball League. Bill was an avid bowler on several leagues. He was a 50+ year member of the Wolcottsville Volunteer Fire Co. as well as the Terry's Corners, Wolcottsville Exempt Club. Bill was an EMT for Wolcottsville and an EMT instructor.  He enjoyed watching all of the Jessie Stone movies over and over again. Bill was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church Wolcottsville for most of his life. He was a good Christian man who personally thanked God for his family and friends.
    Funeral will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Michael's Lutheran Church Wollcottsville. Prior visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in Bill's name to St. Michael's Lutheran Church or Niagara Hospice.
