NORTH TONAWANDA, July
24—Funeral services for Mrs.
Susan Haseley Mackensen, 68, of
the Shawnee Rd., who died Thursday
evening at DeGraff Memorial
Hospital, will he held tomorrow at
2:30 p.m. at the home and at 3
o'clock at St.. Martin's Lutheran
Church. The Rev. Arthur H. Horn-
ing will officiate. Interment will
be in White Chapel Memorial Park
Cemetery. ,
Mrs. Mackensen is survived by
her husband, Sigmuod Mackensen;
two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Thiele
and Mrs. Leonard Thiele; both of
this city; a son, Sigmund J. Mack-
ensen, Machias; five -grandchild-
ren; two sisters, Miss Holda Haseley,
Machias, and Miss Agatha
Ittseley, Niagara Falls, and a
brother, Jonas J. Haseley, Sanborn

EUSTIS, FL — Elizabeth S. (nee Mackensen) Thiele, age 95, entered eternal rest on July 31, 2010, in Florida. She was a former resident of the Town of Wheatfield. She was born to Sigmund and Susan Mackensen, in Yardley, PA, on March 25, 1915. She was an active member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda, participating in many capacities.

Elizabeth was predeceased by husband, Leonard, and son, Paul. She is survived by daughter, Marie (Bill) Cole; daughter-in-law, Julien Thiele; grand- children, Andrew (Angelica) Cole, Jennifer (Jim) Wanamaker, Jeffrey (Michele) Thiele and Mark Cole; great-grandchildren, Emily and David Wanamaker, Andrew and Caroline Thiele, and Andrea Cole; and many other loving family members.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Martin Lutheran Church, 322 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, NY, on Friday, August 13, 2010, at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. R. Devie Ellis presiding. Memorials may be made to St. Martin Lutheran Church.

NORTH TONAWANDA-Mrs. Helen E. (Mackensen) Thiele, 60, of 7495 Shawnee Road, died Monday (Dec. 27, 1971) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church. where she was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the American Lutheran Women and the Christian Women's Club. She was also a member of the DeGraff Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and area treasurer of the American Lutheran Church Women. She is survived by her husband, Eugene W. C. Thiele; three daughters, Mrs. Claudia Joerg of this city, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Leslein and Mrs. Dennis (Marion) Bay, both of Columbus, OH; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Thiele of this city; a brother, Siegmund Mackensen of Belfast, and three grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at. St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Old Falls Boulevard. The Rev. TONAWANDA — Paul L. Thiele, age 66, of the Town of Wheatfield, March 28, 2010, in Millard Fillmore Hospital, Buffalo. Mr. Thiele was a 1961 graduate of North Tonawanda High School and a 1965 graduate of Capital University. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He was the President of Thiele Inc. and was a member and Regional Vice-President of ESPA, and was a member of other trade organizations. He was an active member of St. Martin Lutheran Church, having served as Choir Director, Treasurer, President, Trustee, Sunday School teacher and Youth Group Director; he had served as the Treasurer of the Regional Youth Group Gathering. He was a Board member of the Tonawanda and Buffalo Chapters of the American Red Cross and First President of NY Penn Regional Blood Services.
