MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Amelia (Haseley) Buehring, 84, formerly of Haseley Road, Wolcottsville died Saturday night (Feb. 19, 1966) at Mount View Hospital, Lockport, where she had been a patient for two days. She was born July 15, 1881 in the Town of Niagara, daughter of John and Fredericka Wolfe Haseley. She was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Wolcottsville and a lifelong resident of this area. Her husband Charles F. Buehring died in 1937. LOCKPORT - Elton E. (Red) Giertz, 48, of 266 Ontario St., died Sunday at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack. The rescue squad of the Lockport Fire Department reponded and the resuscitator was used with no reponse. Willis C. Strickland, of Niagara County Coroner, pronounced the man dead at the scene. Mr. Giertz was a native of Niagara Falls, born July 15, 1923, the son of Frank and Leona Buehring Giertz. He was an inspector at the Harrison. Radiator Division of General Motors Corp. for the past six years. He had formerly been an employe of' the Upson Co. here. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Lockport Horseshoe League, the U&W Local 686 and their Bowling League; and was a WWII Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; a son, Richard W. Giertz; a daughter, Mrs. Duane Godfrey; his mother, Mrs. Leona Giertz, and three grandchildren all of here. LaVern E. Haseley

Of the Town of Niagara, went to be with his Lord on Friday, November 11, 2022, under the care of his family at  home.  He was born on the family homestead, on May 23, 1930, a son of the late Erich and Irene [Buehring] Haseley.
Mr. Haseley attended Trott Vocational High School.  He was a self employed farmer, operating several farms on Lockport Road and on Lower Mountain Road in Cambria.
Mr. Haseley was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church Walmore, where he formerly held the offices of President and Trustee.  He proudly served as a past Town of Niagara Councilman and a member of it's Environmental Board.  He was a member of the Niagara County Farm Bureau and had served on the of Directors of Wendt's Dairy.
While he appreciated traveling across the United States, his favorite trips were local, to check on the crops.
He enjoyed the companionship of his faithful dogs who laid by his feet until his last day.
Mr. Haseley valued his time spent with family and friends at his farm in the Southern Tier and enjoyed hunting and snowmobiling.
He was the husband of 62 years to the late Ruth M. [Beutel] Haseley, who passed away in January of 2015.
He is survived by his five children Jane (Frank) Donato, Bonnie Mehls, Cindy (late Timothy) Engleka, Ann (late Frank) Testman, Charles Haseley, ten grandchildren and cherished  great-grandchildren,  he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Haseley was the father of the late James Haseley and brother of the late Gladys Schildhauer and Florence Haseley,
His family will be present on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.   Funeral Services will be held on  Wednesday at 11:00   AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 6167 Walmore Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Kurt Jensen officiating.

She enjoyed gardening and worked at the L.A.D.D. shop in Niagara Falls. Survivors include her husband, William W. Schildhauer; they were married June 12, 1948; five children, Gary (Louise) Schildhauer, Joyce (Ed) Harris, Robert (Denise) Schildhauer, Wendy (Ken) Pendergast and Donald (Peggy) Schildhauer; a brother, LaVern (Ruth) Haseley; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. LOCKPORT — Phyllis (Perry) Gottman Harvey, of Middleport, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Heritage Manor, Lockport, NY, on July 16, 2012.

Phyllis was born in the Town of Hartland on September 22, 1931, daughter of the late Robert and Mildred (Buehring) Perry.

Phyllis was a 1949 graduate of Royalton Hartland High School. She worked at Fisher Price in Medina for several years until her retirement in l993. She was a previous member of the Middleport Princess Chapter #405 O.E.S. and the Middleport United Methodist Church.

Phyllis was a resident of Middleport for her entire life. She had a cheerful spirit and a hearty laugh. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and her recent class reunions. Her perseverance was an inspiration to all.

She was predeceased by her husbands, William Gottman and Anthony Harvey.

Loving mother of Diane (Rick) Strusienski of Lockport, Linda (Kim) Snell of Medina, and Charlene (Mark) Murdoch of Florida. Step-mother of Dave (Joyce) Harvey, Paul (Sandy) Harvey, Karen (Tom) Todd and Kathy (Tom) Riexinger. Obituary of Charles Robert Perry
Charles Robert Perry of Middleport, faithfully and peacefully concluded his earthly life and stepped into eternity on his 94th birthday, November 1, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. Charles was of man of quiet faith and service to God, his family, his country and his community.He was born on November 1, 1926, the oldest son of Robert and Mildred (Buehring) Perry and lived in Middleport his entire life. After graduating from Royalton-Hartland Central School in 1945, he served in the US Army for 18 months in Germany. After returning home he attended Bryant and Stratton Business School and began a career at Harrison Radiator as a statistician where he worked for 37 years, retiring in 1987. In 1950 he married Marjorie Manley and they were blessed to celebrate their 70th anniversary on May 27, 2020. He built their home in Middleport in 1956 and resided there his whole life. He was an active member of County Line United Methodist Church and Cataract Lodge #295 F&AM where he helped with fish fries for many years. He is survived by his wife, Marge, his daughters, Susan and Jane, six grandchildren: Ben (Susan) Atwater, Stephen (Amanda) Phillips, Adam (Hannah) Atwater, Denise Phillips, Alicia (Bob) White, Seth (Renee) Atwater and ten great-grandchildren: Marissa, Camden, Adeline, Lydia, Bailie, Elise, Nolan, Lincoln, Grant and Ashlyn. Also survived by his brother, Donald Perry and many nieces, nephews and cousins who have provided love and support over the years. He was pre-deceased by sons-in-law, Richard Atwater and Timothy Phillips, also his sister, Phyllis. There will be calling hours on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Bates, Wallace Funeral Home at 38 State Street in Middleport with a Masonic service at 7:45 that evening. Margaret is survive by her daughter Sandra (Michael) Furlong; grandchildren Christopher Furlong and Jill Pusateri; great grandchildren Joseph and Raven Pusateri.  Besides her husband she was also predeceased by her son Mark Cicciarelli.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

OHAR Funeral services for Patricia Avis Ohar, 77, will be held 11AM Friday, February 5, 2010 at Shindler Drive Baptist Church, 7100 Shindler Drive, Jacksonville, Florida with Rev. Jay Huddleston Officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery. Patricia was born on April 8, 1932 in Pembroke, New York and passed away on January 30, 2010 with her family by her side. Pat moved to Buffalo, New York as a young adult where she met her future husband of 57 years. She spent most of her life as a resident of Jacksonville, FL. "Miss Pat" dedicated many selfless years at both Cedar Hills Baptist Church (15 Years) and Shindler Drive Baptist Church (22 Years) working with newborns in the nursery. She took tremendous joy with each new addition to her "flock". When anyone was looking for her at church, they asked "Mr. Pat". She also looked forward to special occasions that would require the nursery to be open. Pat was an avid Gator fan and had an unconditional love for the Gators. She anxiously anticipated Saturday afternoons when Orange and Blue filled the Swamp. In the Spring, she cheered Gator Basketball to "the Dance" in March Madness. Pat was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Lila Haseley; and her brother, Louie Long. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Andrew Ohar, Sr.; her children, Mary Brown (David), Andrew Ohar, Jr. (Darlene), Karen Ohar, Robin Ohar and Tracy Pickett (Bryan); sister, Jo Ann Betzold (Gary) of Akron, NY; six grandchildren, Angela Ohar and Scott Ohar (Mandy), Joshua Martin, Brock Pickett, and Michael and Thomas Brown; three great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Taylor and Mayson Ohar, and many other loving family members and friends. Pat touched the lives of many, she loved the Lord, and taught her children and family to do the same. She sacrificed through the years putting her needs on hold to ensure her family succeeded. Her children owe all they have become to their mother and are thankful for the good job she has done. She will be greatly missed. Family will receive friends on Thursday (TODAY) from 5PM-7PM at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Florida.
