THIELE - Eugene W C. of North Tonawanda, suddenly, Tuesday, April 22, 1980; beloved husband of Irma, (nee Gritzke). Father of Mrs. Jerome (Claudia) Lojacano of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Robert Leslein of Columbus. Ohio, Mrs. Dennis (Marion) Bay of LaCross Wash., Stepfather of Raymond and George Burgasser and Mrs. William (Patricia) Doebler all of North Tonawanda, Mrs. Donald (Joanne) Gatz of Urbana, Ill., Grandfather of Claude A. Kevin P., Joerg (Lynne) Leslein, Rebekah, Joshua and Deborah. Grandfather of seven step-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Mrs. Elisabeth Thiele. Uncle of Mrs. William Cole of Miami, Fla. and Paul Thiele of North Tonawanda. Brother of the late Leonard Thiele. The family will receive friends at the FRETTHOLD FUNERAL HOME Inc., 1241 Oliver at Ward Rd., North Tonawanda, Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9p.m. Services be held in St. Martin Lutheran Church, Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. David B. Kaplan will officiate. Interment in White Chapel Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church, Columbus, Ohio, St. Martin Lutheran Church, the Niagara Lutheran Home of Buffalo. The Niagara Lutheran High School, the CBN 700 Club, or the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Mr. Thiele was cofounder of the Thiele Coal and Fee (sic) Co., Director of the Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship Institute. Treasurer of the Oil Heal Institute, past officer of the, the Mutual Millers Association and past director of the Empire State Fuel Merchants Association.

Helen (daughter of MACKENSEN, Siegmund Johannes and HASELEY, Susanne Lydia) was born on 15 Feb 1911 in Yardley, PA; died on 27 Dec 1971 in North Tonawanda, Niagara County, NY. Obituary for Claudia Helen Thiele
Claudia Helen Thiele, 89, of Pendleton, New York, Wednesday (May 29, 2024) in Elderwood at Lockport. Claudia was born in North Tonawanda on March 30, 1935 to Eugene William Carl Thiele, and Helen E. (Mackensen) Thiele.
Claudia is survived by her sons Claude and Kevin (Brenda) Joerg, sister of Marion (the late Denis ) Bay, grandmother of Theodore (Nicole) Joerge, and Madeline Joerg, BreAnne (Richard) Kilmer, and Katlynne (Jon) Garcia, great grandchildren Sadi Kilmer, Cameron Kilmer, and Harley Garcia, also surviving are nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held privately by the family, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
